haven't posted here since my rants about promotion but I'm back as I'm happy to see there's quite a bit of promo coming up over the pond, great to see! seems she may also be filming her third video already? great idea!

 

in regards to that sticker on album cover, I remember 'Circus' had one aswell but don't remember which songs it featured. it might have been 'if u seek amy' and 'out from under'?

I thought it must have been. I always buy the Absolute Music compilations that they release there and Out From Under was on one of them, I remember thinking that it was a very bizarre inclusion :lol:

What? The CD is "bland"? :lol: it's one of the best designed CD's I've personally seen :lol: CD's are nearly always bland though... what an odd thing to say haha.

To be fair, "Out From Under" was originally the third single planned from "Circus" but Britney pushed for "If U Seek Amy" apparantly..

 

Similarly with "Radar", it is believed that B&A contracted Jive to release it as a single, seeing as it was put onto "Circus" and eventually given a single release.

 

Essentially what I'm saying is, "Criminal" probably has a 50% chance of being a single, but I'm sure "I Wanna Go" and "Big Fat Bass" will ALSO be singles. So.. you know?

It was 'Out From Under' for 'Circus' like Nick posted. Apparently word on the street is Jive wanted it as a single and Britney did not... probably because she was tired of the media focusing on her bad times. Same thing happened with her wanting 'Break The Ice' and Jive wanting 'Radar'.

 

Britney was right on both occasions, IMO.

Just got round to listening to the bonus tracks and it seems they actually made the right decisions this time. I love 'He About to Lose Me' (more than a fair few of the standard album tracks), but not keen on the other three much at all. Maybe they'll grow...
