Its hard to tell from such a short clip with barely any vocals, but the big fat bass just sounds stupid.
It sounds alright, its only the beginning though so I think it will get alot better in the middle
Just sounds like a generic Will.I.Am production, but does sound promising nevertheless.
After penning number one hits for Katy Perry and Britney Spears, singer-songwriter Bonnie McKee has been snapped up by Kelly Clarkson to work on her upcoming fifth studio album. Bonnie spilled the juice about the collaboration during an interview with AlexKazemi.com, admitting that her expectations are high for Kelegend’s project.

“I did a bunch of work with Kelly Clarkson last summer, it’s looking like that will make the album. She really has an incredible voice and I’m excited to see what happens, I have high expectations for that album!”

In addition to writing for others, Bonnie is also working on her own album (the follow up to her 2004 flop debut Trouble). Producing the record will be Dr. Luke, Max Martin, Greg Kurstin, and Josh Abraham, but Bonnie’s “main collaborator” on the disc will be up & comer Oliver ‘Oligee’ Goldstein, who you’d know from Leighton Meester’s “Somebody to Love” and “Your Love’s A Drug”.

“I think the main difference in writing for myself versus other artist is that lyrically, I take more chances. I’ve learned through my time in the songwriting trenches, that when I write something ballsy, a lot of the labels will be like “Oh, so-and-so would never say that” or “It’s too smart”. I tend to simplify and sweeten a majority of the things I write for other people, I like to take risk on my own stuff, go a little bit ‘left field’.”

“I take being the “next Katy Perry” as a compliment, because I really love her work. But I will probably be more like Katy Perry’s evil twin. It will have the poptastic dance-ability but with more of an edge. I want to borrow from some of the eighties glory… big, anthemic sing along songs with crazy modern production. I am also toying with the idea of changing my name for this project, since I’ve kind of already done “Bonnie Mckee.” I’m interested in reemerging with a completely new identity, sound, and perspective.”

Katy Perry already has an evil twin, and her name is Ke$ha! Or is Ke$ha Lady GaGa’s evil twin? Actually, I think Ke$ha is everybody’s evil twin.

Until Bonnie (or whatever she’s calling herself in the future) re-emerges as a solo star, you’ll have to make do with enjoying her skills as a songwriter on your fave pop tracks. She’s written a massive six songs for Britney Spears’ Femme Fatale album, including the lead single “Hold It Against Me”, and she’s hoping that all six will make the final cut. With Dr. Luke and Max Martin exec-producing, there’s a good chance they probably will.

Darkchild talks about working with Britney and 'Femme Fatale'.

Britney Spears is a month away from the release of Femme Fatale, and nearly every day, she's teasing fans with samples of some of the songs on the album, including the latest, her song with will.i.am, "The Big Fat Bass." Now, longtime collaborator Rodney Jerkins is opening up about hitting the studio with Spears.

"Britney's always great to work with. I've worked with Britney for 12, 13 years now," he told MTV News. "It's always great to work with someone when you work with someone time and time again; it's always great, and it always gets better. And just to see her evolve as an artist, it's an amazing, amazing thing."

Jerkins worked with Spears in the past on "Overprotected (Darkchild Remix)" and "I Love Rock 'n' Roll" in the early 2000s, as well as her leaked version of Lady Gaga's "Telephone," when she was recording Circus.

This time around, he said Spears knows exactly what she wants musically on the album. "She was very hands-on. She had a lot of ideas for me," he said. "She's great. She gets it. She is a top-notch veteran pro at this now."

She might be getting some help from Jerkins, but Dr. Luke and Max Martin are executive-producing the album, and Jerkins had nothing but the best to say about the production team. "I never spoke to them, [but] those guys are just great, and the stuff that they've been doing is just really, really great stuff," he said. "I'm sure with their hands on it, it's great."

Spears herself has described the album as "moody, edgy pop with A LOT of energy," hinting that many of the songs will be uptempo, and Jerkins noted that the songs he's been writing for her have certainly fit that label. "I know the songs that I do are uptempo," he said. "The stuff I've done, I think, will kind of shock people. I got a chance to go out my box a little bit too. She's great. Britney's just awesome."

hmmm Britney mentions "On The Rocks" as her fave on the album, and that's not listed over there ^.

but I guess we'll get an OFFICIAL tracklist soon enough.

Could 'On The Rocks' be a temporary/demo name for maybe, 'He About to Lose Me' or 'Trouble With Me' or something?
Some people are saying how it could've been the original title to "How I Roll" because of the lyrics in the clip tequila on the rocks. It makes sense since she does like her B&A produce songs and we've definitely seen song titles renamed on Blackout!

OH. MY. GOD. These clips are f***ing ORGASMIC!

Album of the year! Hurry and just leak already! (Although I think I'll do what I did with 'Blackout' and 'Circus' and wait to have the physical in my hands before I listen to the tracks in full!)
