I've seen the fantastic trailer for this on BBC3 so many damn times lately but they just end it with the ominous 'Coming Soon'.

Absolutely love the premise and the first two series were some of the best episodes of a British drama I've personally watched in years tbh.

Hideous US remake aside, anybody else looking forward to Series 3? :D

Annie is in purgatory! And the others have to get there to save her

Queen Lacey Turner will be guest starring in the series as will urm Robson Green

Pantomine-esque villain Herrick has been bought back from the dead

Zombies are apparently going to be introduced to the BH universe

GAHHHH! So excited! Fantastic casting for Lacey and Robson. (He's actually a decent-ish actor! Not as bad as people would like to think though :P)

There's a US remake of this now? Is it exactly the same as the UK version? (Like the 'Skins' & 'Shameless' remakes)

I have nothing against Robson Green [as an actor anyway]. I just found it a bit random

As far as I know it's the exact same as the UK version. I haven't read anything in great detail about it or dare to watch though...

I couldn't make it through the last series but the first was exceptional so hopefully they'll take it back to basics. And I will have to watch every episode starring Queen Lacey at the very least.

Very much so looking forward to this; the first series was just amazing and whilst I have to agree the second failed to deliver a few time it was still enjoyable and brilliant at times.

Plus I can continue my obsessions with both Aiden and Lenora.

Oh I was wondering when this would come around again, can't wait loved the first two series. :D
I need to finish the second series...must catch up soon!
Just watching the last few eps from Series 2 to refresh my memory, Looking forward to it!
so looking forward to this- I loved both series, they were so impressive, plus the end of the last series left so many cliffhangers :D

I wonder if that scientist Lucy is really dead....maybe she'll come back as a Zombie! :o

I hope there are good Zombies, it'd make a change. :P

Great start to the new series! I wasnt sure about Lacey Turner to start with, but she was amazing. I really didnt see the twist of her being one of Mitchells victims coming either to be honest. Well, at least not her being one of the train victims.

Good to see Sinead Keenan now properly part of the main cast. I thought it was rather sweet in it's way that Nina and George didnt rip each other to shreds when transofrmed. Werepuppies storyline here we come!

A shame Lenora wasnt used that much, but understandable I suppose. The Robson Green subplot was good, but out of place and annoying whenever they cut to it. Hoping Lacey Turner turns up again soon. So yeap, on the whole, a very decent start to the series.

It was fantastic! So glad it seems to be back on form. I think I'll be sticking with this series to the end unlike series two. Initially I thought Lacey just seemed to be playing Stacey but she really grew into the role as the episode went on. I think she'll avoid being typecast and go on to have a great career.

The scene where Annie poured George the tea was amazing, a real chills up spine moment. All I wasn't keen on was the Robson Green subplot and in particular that awful pantomime baddie who masterminded the cage fight. But he's gone now! Hopefully that'll intertwine into the others' stories in episode two.

Really liked the first episode...a little unsure at first. Probably because it's been a while since I've seen it...but it proved exactly why I love the show. Lacey really was brilliant too.....I wonder if we'll see more of her or if it will be a once off?

Also

Who's that black haired kid in the "coming next week" segment? At first I thought it might be Bernie coming back but then I remembered Bernie wouldn't have aged...while this guy is clearly an older teenager

Just read about the US version of Being Human....it all sounds very familiar. I know it's based on the english version but you'd think they'd mix it up....

The main characters:

Sally: A ghost who died when she fell down the stairs, desperately wants to see her fiancée again.

Aidan: A vampire who works in a hospital so he can get blood easily, early on bites and turns a girl called Rebecca in a night of passion

Josh: A Werewolf unlucky in love and also funny and neurotic.

Bishop: The vampire (who's lieutenant of a police force) who turned Aidan, he now wants to lure Aidan back into the evil ways of vampires blah blah blah...

I'm wondering if I should even bother watching the american version if it's going to be like watching a repeat....I was sort of hoping they might mix things up a bit story wise....at least a little. :(

edit: Oh hang on, I found something that's different about Being Human USA! Geor...Josh has a sister! :o

The US version starts out very similar to the UK one but certain plot lines are resolved quicker and it's 13 episodes so there's going to be plenty of original material in there too apparently. I've seen part of the first episode and it seemed decent and faithful enough but lacking the magic and chemistry between the cast of the UK one so I don't think I'll bother.

Hearing Lacey Turner swear was shocking. But also kinda arousing.
Being Human returned to BBC Three with 1.3 million on Sunday evening, but Dancing On Ice continued to dominate primetime, the latest audience data has revealed.

Being Human's third series, introducing ex-EastEnders actress Lacey Turner to the cast, averaged 1.37m (5%) for BBC Three in the 10pm hour, easily the biggest multichannel audience of the night. A further 174k (0.6%) watched the show on the BBC HD channel.

Impressive!
