The US songs are usually better  I mean compare Airplanes and California Gurls to JLS and Cheryl Cole. No comparison

Surely part of the blame is the fact that UK radio/video channels play far more American music. There are excellent UK acts Marina, VV Brown, Rox, Ghetts, Diana Vickers who are just not getting support from radio.I like Bruno but want Adele to get back to No 1.I will be buying only British acts this year.

Who in hell is/are Ghetts? Replace Diana Vickers with Hurts though and I would agree, the UK market is too dominated by the US, still it's even harder for an act popular in Australia or mainland Europe to enter the British charts.

In your opinion... I couldn't hum Airplanes if someone held a shotgun to my head.

Is that the BOB song?

Hope Adele does lots of promo and gets the #1, heard that Grenade song a few times and couldn't hum that either.

Ghetts is the best Grime artist in the UK.It would be depressing if next week Adele lost out to Kesha also.

Couldn't agree more! Imo, UK music was and still is far better than most of the US music!

I hope every number 1 this year is by a US artist

That's because you're a troll.

Someone said it. :cheer:

Well, if Bruno's overtaken now he'll definitely keep it for Sunday.

Hopefully.

I prefer to think of it as 'that Hayley Williams song, on which BoB makes a small contribution'. ;)

Of course you do

Even if rappers/R'n'B acts make a good song that, you'd still hate them, right?

Even if you like it, you'd still hate it because it's rap/R'n'B
