At the moment, Adele casts a giant shadow over all the others in that list. And before anyone suggests it, that is nothing to do with her weight. She's just so far ahead of the others at the moment it's scary. No finer live singer in the World at the moment. Leon may be arguably technically a better vocalist (I'm still yet to be convinced) but, my God, Adele's live performance tramples all over Leona with its soulfulness and an added bonus is she has a great personality (whereas Leona doesn't actually possess any personality at all). All IMO, of course.

Right, Pixie lott seven votes! She outsold everyone on albums last year? Apart from Adele of course.

I wouldn't have Amy winehouse listed as best female at the moment as she hasn't released anything new in like 4 years. So she isn't really "at the moment". Considering neither Cher or Rebecca haven't an album or hit record to their name, i don't feel they qualify to be counted among any of them at all.

 

Adele gets my vote. She has raw talent, is a fantastic songwriter and is one of the few singers who i feel actually sings from the heart.
