Posted February 5, 201114 yr A R Rahman & Pussycat Dolls feat Nicole Scherzinger - Jai Ho (You Are My Destiny) Nicole is the lead of The Pussycat Dolls, so why does it say she features on this track A R Rahman sings the original song, but in this he only sings "Jai Ho" in the background (I pressume he is the man that sings this bit), so why is he credited for being the lead? Can someone please explain?
February 5, 201114 yr It sells more if they put "ft. Nicole Scherzinger", I guess? It's a bit weird though, as they essentially credit her twice. Is that why the Pussycat Dolls split up? Because of the emphasis on Nicole, to the point that she was basically a solo artist by the end.
February 5, 201114 yr Author Thankyou to both of you! :) they should have called them "Nicole and the Dolls" or something, it would make more sense
