It's not the *songs* I have a specific problem with, this time...

 

Maybe it's my age, but I consider the moral factors too - even if I liked one of those Chris Brown songs, I would refuse to buy it, on principle.

and on the BRITs duet, Tinie was apparently supposed to duet with Rihanna, but apparently its been pulled- so Ellie Goulding may replace her, if they do sing Wonderman, that would guarantee it a top 10 place at least :D

But Tinie tweeted a few weeks back saying he was never due to perform with Rihanna and that it was just rumours.. & him and Ellie have already performed together at the Brits Nominations, so they won't perform Wonderman again. Very likely that he will do Pass Out as that is the song he is nominated for

She still comes online it seems, but she hasn't posted in a month now :o

 

And I remember some people were complaining about her/her moderation in other parts of the forum. Hopefully she didn't take it to heart, though the timing does seem somewhat suspect, I have to say. But she was very valued here even if some people thought she was an "iTunes nazi!11" [/schmaltzycrap] :o

It's just that before she disappeared, it was only really Britster who posted pop bars, and frankly she was very good with it and did it quite regularly, so it's understandable that nobody wanted to get in the way of that, really, and there was no need. And then the thread was thrown into disarray for a short amount of time (seriously, I remember a few weeks ago there were days and days of no pop bars being posted, and mostly random chat for pages and pages, which is fine in moderation of course but it was a bit woah, this thread is in shambles :lol:)... but now a few posters post pop bars at least once a day so it's fine now, really.

 

Britster was still a very valuable member though - I think some people took her for granted :o (I sound like I'm speaking in an obituary here.)

I really love that McFly song now, although still believe it was totally the wrong choice over 'Nowhere Left To Run'.

 

Might help it leaving it until closer to the summer, actually. Fingers crossed its next.

 

That's the Truth keeps bouncing up and down between about #189 to #240 which is good. Once the promotion kicks in I'm hoping for a good run. Think its gathering a similar audience to Shine a Light, actually. Different though with it being on the album and therefore already hanging around on Itunes.

Not that I dislike R&B/Hip-hop, far from it, but there seems to be a lot more urban in the top 40 than usual, or is it just me? :lol: I remember thinking there was a lot back in 2003/4 but it's nothing compared to now!
