Black Eyed Peas new album is the definition of poor work! Not going to compare both BEP and GaGa, but i used to love Black Eyed Peas in Elephunk (and Monkey Business) and now they have started using autotune...i don't know. Nowadays, they try just to sell and not create anything memorable and good!

Well, they're trying to stay with the current music. Their new sound represents that. MMH, IGAF, TT, JCGE, RTB, IB & BBP are all memorable in one way or another.

The Time has sold more than Telephone, I think. Or it will do, anyway.

 

In terms of quality, it goes:

Rihanna has sold more with Loud than Eminem has with Recovery, but Eminem is by far the more succesful artist. There's no comparison atm, imo.

I'm surprised Eric hasn't commented on Lady GaGa knocking 'Coming Home' out of the top 10 yet :P Or maybe he has and I just missed it because this thread is being so swamped at the moment

Given Eminem has been around twice as long as Rihanna has, I agree there's no comparison. Wait and see if Rihanna is still massive 11 years after her début like Eminem is (well, technically was as he's not had any major success this year but I'm sure he'll remain massive with his next album). :P

Meet Me Halfway is my favourite song of 2009!!!!!! :wub: Glad someone else likes it (well, it's sold 750,000 and was a 3rd single, so I guess a lot of people love it :lol:). It is amazing. So atmospheric and beautiful. And the drums, and the guitars, and the synths are just.... *makes orgasm noises*

I haven't listened to Born This Way yet, but if it sounds the same as Paparazzi, Bad Romance, etc, I will NOT be happy. WHY!?!? WHYYYYYYYYY!?!?!? :cry: Is there any hope for our country now? Come on guys, lets get Coming Home back in the top 10!! Let's put the GREAT back in the Great Britain!!!!!!!!!

 

Eminem is releasing another single from his current album. It's Space Bound. 12 year-olds girls will LOVE it, for the same reason they love Bruno Mars songs, although Space Bound is actually a good song.

Yes, I'm a BEP fan. And I do like nowadays than their first 4 albums.

I love electro sounding music.

I still love their old albums though, they were class too.

 

Nah, Gaga won't be #1 on Sunday. Top 10 is very possible though.
