Reason why I don't want 'Champion' to be #1 (although it probably will be :rolleyes: ). It'll continue the dreaded 2010 "one week wonder" list and if it is #1 it'll be at least #3 next week as Jessie J has already overtaken again and will get a boost from The Brit Awards. Then there's Lady GaGa who is a shoe in for the top spot (or at least it seems obvious at this moment in time).

 

I'd rather have 'Price Tag' #1 for a second week as I'm certain people will remember 'Price Tag' in 6 months time whereas 'Champion' will probably be on the verge of leaving the top 40 in six weeks!!!

 

Or the long shot of having Lady GaGa #1 tomorrow with just 36 hours sales. Then holding onto the #1 spot next week (et la when Rihanna 'Umbrella' overtook Maroon 5 'Makes Me Wonder' for #1 in 2007, and when Duffy 'Mercy' overtook Nickelback 'Rockstar' for #1 in 2008).

 

When it comes to UK #1 hits, my opinions are the polar opposite of Eric Blob. :D I want to see songs get to no. 1 and stay there to prove they were worthy of getting to no. 1 in the first place. A 01-07-09-16-35-56-OUT chart run is disgraceful.

lol. Yeah. I saw the picture, and his face is just so funny! :rofl: Poor guy. :lol: His face expressions are always so priceless though, especially when he's on TV. I thought it'd be fitting, with Born This Way being released. It looks a bit like he's helping an old lady. :lol:

 

Timbaland aswell, I find he always has such crazy facial expressions, especially in his music videos, like his ones with Katy Perry and Keri Hilson. Although I think Timbaland might do them on purpose. It's quite fascinating tbh. :lol:

These seem weird, because if they are right LG's lead has gone from 2.33x to 1.95x in about 10minutes...

I'd prefer a healthy balance of both. I mean, every year has their typical low selling #1s and it wouldn't be the same without them, but I agree it's a bit ridiculous if there's an influx of them.

 

I suppose each year the inevitable "one week wonders" which are usually charity singles. There's no escaping Comic Relief, Children In Need and that's before we even get to most famous charity of them all; Simon Cowell. :kink:

 

I'd just prefer to see some songs get at least 3/4 weeks at no. 1 (2 weeks at a push) rather than an endless list of 1 weekers at the top.
