This is growing on me. I don't love it, but I do keep coming back to it which is more than can be said for "Born This WAy".

Judas debuts at 10 on Hot 100 (and 48 at Radio charts with 26 million in audience).

I love this song, I do actually thing it's one of the best, and a song of opposites being both fierce and delicate.

Out of the singles she's released in the UK (so excluding Eh Eh...)

I think:

Paparazzi > Bad Romance > Judas > Telephone > Poker Face > Alejandro > Love Game > Just Dance > Born This Way

And that's only after a few listens of Judas. Looking forward to the video. I didn't really enjoy the one from BTW.

Sorry, but as someone who ADORES Gaga I'd say it's pretty fair to say she's lost the knack of things this era. Massive hype vastly frontloading her sales for EVERYTHING (it half-worked for Born This Way, but it was a mistake to do it for Judas), releasing two lead singles so liable to criticism leading to the impression she's getting a backlash, insisting on on-air-on-sale but not getting the videos out instantly, and doing the era at the same time as the most intensive tour anybody's probably ever done, leaving her barely any opportunity for promo. It's going alright for her in the USA but over here? She'll need a properly killer third single which is amazing on its own merits and shuts the critics up to get an era anywhere near as successful as we expected.

We will just have to wait till the release date though to see what the future holds for her. I personally can't see her having the 10 or 12 million sales The Fame had. An artist will always have one huge huge era and that was hers and maybe only be her only one.
