Oh seriously :( That's that out then  I'll edit the article, thanks for the heads-up, I knew it was too BJ not to have been entered before! I replaced it with I Remember Me by Jennifer Hudson! Mr Romeo was gonna be my entry as well :( Have to choose a new one now!

I like 'Honey Trap' but it might be a bit too similar to 'Government Name', but I'm sure it'd do fairly well in BJSC.

The links for 'Army Of Love' and 'Love2Baby' both go to 'Honey Trap', so you need to change them. Plus I saw that Casey (B.a.N.G) is considering sending 'Love2Baby' too.

'Be My Man' is nice enough, but it's pretty forgetable and wouldn't do very well in BJSC. I'd drop this if I were you.

'Spider Web' is in a similar situation to 'Be My Man', but I think it'd do respectably in BJSC but probably only go mid-table at best.

'I Remember Me' is good too, but lacking that 'spark' and might get a bit forgotten along the way.

If I were you I'd send 'Honey Trap' under the Mandarin Chinese name, as it's most likely to do best out of your songs, and the Mandarin Chinese is the wow factor, in people remembering the song. It might be a bit too similar to 'Goverment Name' but I think it'd do the best, but then enter something a bit different for the next contest. It's probably the only one which would definitely get points from me. :D

I was thinking Honey Trap is too similair to Government Name, but that or Army Of Love are deffo my most likely to send. Be My Man is probably my favourite but yeah I can why it's forgettable :( Spider Web is my least fave of these tracks, and I can see people thinking I Remember Me being too typical J-Hud. I can't think of any negatives to sending Honey Trap or Army Of Love, I'm thinking both could well get top 10, Honey Trap possibly top 5. Love2Baby is male, so I don't think I bother with it anyway :kink: Thanks for the help! :D

Unovia have revealed some potential entries for the next BJSC:

Christina Perri - Arms

Tinie Tempah ft. Ester Dean - Love Suicide

Clinton Sparks ft. LMFAO & JoJo - Sucks To Be You

SoundGirl - Don't Know Why

Cobra Starship ft. Sabi - You Make Me Feel

I know all of these already! They're all solid 8's apart from Arms which is probably an 8.5 or 9/10 so that's my favourite.

I'm not sure that they'd all get past the mods though, I don't know what their vetting procedure is but LMFAO, Tinie Tempah and the new Soundgirl single might all fall foul, certainly the latter.

They all suck anyway (except Christina Perri). :P

I didn't think the vetting procedure was that strict! :o I thought SoundGirl and Cobra Starship would easily get past - the former have had 0 chart sucsess and DKW will get like top 20 at best, plus the latter have had one top 20! Seeing as it's only my 3rd contest, I'll take your advice seeing as you all know more than more than me. I do have more songs (:o) so I'll post a revised contenders list (I'm still not too sure on sending Christina Perri).

Actually, I've found a great song - it was on a blog I just looked on, and it won't get vetoed! :D

Unovia choose rep for BJSCXXXV

Unovia have chosen their representative for the upcoming 35th Buzzjack Song Contest, it has been revealed. Because of an embargo due to the rules of the contest, the Unovian Selection Committee (USC) cannot reveal the details, but chairman Liam Unocastellia said: "The entry will be different from our previous entries, and will be worth the wait. We always go into a contest with utmost confidence, and this is no different!" Rumours have been flying around Unovia as anticipation builds, with names such as Simon Curtis, Anna Abreu and Neon Hitch flying around. Mr Unocastellia initially refused to comment on said rumours, but eventually he revealed he 'hasn't heard the name of the actual artist in rumours'. With hosts Herzebania set to reveal all the representatives for the Buzzjack world tomorrow, excitement is high is Unovia for what will hopefully be a better contest than the last, in which the country shockingly failed to qualify for the final with Helena Paparizou's Love Me Crazy - despite being tipped for the final by many.

Unovia fail to qualify for XXXV

It was dissapointment in Unovia tonight as their entry to this months Buzzjack Song Contest finished 15th in it's semi final, garnering 35 points and thus failing to qualify for the 2nd contest in a row. Joe Jonas' See No More has been the best performing Unovian entry on the official Unovian charts, reaching number 2, but ultimately wasn't enough to impress the rest of the Buzzjack world. "We can't say we're not dissapointed," said Liam Unocastellia, head of the Unovian BJSC committee, "But we thank Joe for representing us and wish luck to the Unovian favourites who have been fortunate enough to win a place in the final!" Although the country has ultimately fared badly this contest, millions of Unovians are expected to watch the final, which takes place in early July.

Oh My! for BJSCXXXVI

The Unovian entry for the upcoming 36th Buzzjack Song Contest has been revealed. UK pop duo Oh My! will represent the country on their 5th main contest outing in the semi finals with their song Kicking And Screaming. Whether they can qualify or not and break Unovia's chain of bad luck remains to be seen, but early odds from RontBet (FSR Rontiva) have the pop track down as joint 3rd favourite, at 6/1. Bwci-Caer (Caerfyddia) also have Oh My! down as 6/1, joint 5th favourites. The best odds, however, come from PadisPouwer.ny (Numayania), who offer odds of 4/1, putting Kicking And Screaming as 2nd favourite. Oh My! face competition from Unovian chart hits Pia Toscano (with her track This Time), JoJo (with her rendition of Drake's Marvin's Room) and 2NE1 (with their track I Am The Best). As many as 14 million Unovians are expected to watch the semi finals on Saturday, up from last contest's semi total of 12 million.

Oh My! qualify for BJSCXXXVI final

Unovians across the country celebrated tonight as pop duo Oh My! won over the Buzzjack world to win a place in the final of the 36th Buzzjack song contest. Since the country's top 10 debut in XXXII with Alex Young's Government Name, Unovia has seen a decline in luck, as Jolin Tsai finished only 24th out of 28, and Helena Paparizou - Love Me Crazy (which finished 17th in it's semi final) as well as Joe Jonas - See No More (which just missed out finishing 15th in it's semi final) both failed to qualify but odds and predictions show Unovia could be set for another top 10, but whether they beat Alex Young's finish of 8th remains to be seen...

Oh My! finish 8th at BJSC

In this month's 36th Buzzjack Song Contest in FSR Rontiva, Unovia managed to place a respectable 8th on the scoreboard after the votes from 45 countries were counted, matching their personal best set by Alex Young with Government Name in XXXII (incidentally also hosted by FSR Rontiva). The contest was won by Lana Del Ray of Isconia (who received 8 points from the Unovian televote) with Video Games, with Frida Gold of Espen (who received 1 point from the Unovian televote) in 2nd and Cocknbullkid of Lorikeet (who received 5 points from the Unovian televote) in 3rd. It is rumoured preparations for Unovia's campaign for Isconia hosted BJSCXXXVII are already underway.

Unovian entry to BJSC XXXVII chosen

The candidate to represent Unovia at the upcoming 37th Buzzjack Song Contest has been revealed. Due to embargo rules around the contest, the track cannot be revealed, but chairman of the Unovian Selection Committee (USC) Liam Unocastellia said: 'Our entry to the next Buzzjack Song Contest has now been chosen after a thorough look through many choices. The end result is an edgy, unique electronic track from a little known singer, which is likely to appeal to both pop and indie voters, so we hope it should emulate or better Oh My's success at XXXVI.' Last contest, Unovia finished 8th with Oh My!'s Kicking And Screaming, despite being top of many odds to win, matching their personal best set by Alex Young's Government Name after their debut in XXXII.

That Girl With Dark Eyes for BJSCXXXVII

Unovia's entry for the upcoming 37th Buzzjack Song Contest has been revealed to the Buzzjack world. Upcoming American electro musician That Girl With Dark Eyes will represent Unovia with her song Drop It. Asked about what she thought of the pressure, TGWDE said: 'Oh My finished 8th in FSR Rontiva, so obviously I have some big shoes to fill. I think I have the same slightly cool, electronic sound as them so I'm going to Isconia feeling confident!' Whether or not That Girl With Dark Eyes manages to impress the wider Buzzjack world remains to be seen, Unovia shall have to wait and see what happens when the semi results are broadcast live from Isconia next Sunday.
