I hope GaGa can get a boots from that 12 second (?) clip of 'Born This Way' the Brits just played as Boy George was walking out... :P

So, the performances so far have been:

Take That - Kidz

Adele - Someone Like You

Rihanna - Only Girl (In The World) / S&M / What's My Name?

Mumford & Sons - Timshel

Plan B - She Said / Prayin'

Arcade Fire - Ready To Start

Tinie Tempah and Cee Lo Green still to come (and the 'surprise performer' if that's still happening but there's been no mention of it yet)

Take That, Adele, Mumford & Sons and Arcade Fire have missed the point and the other two have done medleys. No one's doing this properly

Wow! Someone Like You is already #9!

Wow! That's fantastic! :D

I want GAGA to be number 1 on Sunday... only ADELE with SLY is the better choice... I think now it's official that this is the second single for sure.

How did Take That miss the point? OK I haven't seen it yet but I'm pretty sure Kidz is the next single...

Mumford & Sons up to #40 and #46 with The Cave and Little Lion Man without even performing them

Arcade Fire at #184! Really glad they won 2 BRITs - unbelievable how big they are these dayz, what with the Grammys too the other day :o

Mumford already making a dramatic impact.

40) The Cave

48) Little Lion Man

220) Winter Winds

238) Sigh No More

266) Roll Away Your Stone

313) White Blank Page

735) Timshel

888) After The Storm

They're supposed to perform their biggest hit of 2010, since it's a celebration of 2010 music.

Logical choices would be

Take That - The Flood

Adele - Make You Feel My Love

Rihanna - Only Girl (In The World)

Mumford & Sons - The Cave

Plan B - She Said

Arcade Fire - We Used To Wait

Tinie Tempah - Pass Out

Cee Lo Green - F**k You!

CLG might be the only one to do it properly (albeit with Paloma Faith if rumours are to be believed) as Tinie Tempah did Written In The Stars / Miami 2 Ibiza / Pass Out.

When I do a full BRITs update tomorrow morning I'll include all songs by the British Album nominees, as The Cave and Little Lion Man are doing really well and M&S might not have even won any awards :P Most of the British Album nominees have won other awards anyway though.

bit stereotypical having born this way played when boy george walked out :/ I hope price tag gets to number one :)

Oh my gosh at Adele! :o

Perhaps they should just release Set Fire To the Rain as the 2nd single then. Someone Like You might not need to be released as a single to sell well. It could be like Make You Feel My Love, where radio stations just playlist it without being asked to. Then she can release another song as her 3rd single.

Pass Out up to #34!! :drama:

That would've been unbelievably boring though. I really do not fancy hearing those songs (except Arcade Fire and Mumford & Sons) for the millionth time.

Rolling In The Deep seems to be benefitting from the performance of Someone Like You. It's back up to #3.

YESSS!!!!!!! 700k sales here we come! :D

Pretty sure they're allowed to perform what they want, lol. I remember others doing current releases in previous years, too.

Although Mumford & Sons doing an album track was possibly one of the most bizarre performance choices I've seen at the BRITs (though it doesn't seem to have mattered too much as The Cave & LLM look like they're going to explode anyway).

Hopefully The Cave will get a new peak this week. It's ridiculous that it only charted at #31 considering how big it was in everything except peak.

And tbh, Arcade Fire don't have any real big hit of 2010, so did it really matter what they performed?

It would indeed have been boring.

I prefer it the way they've done it this year but they still missed the point a bit. :P

So I assume the three medleys and the Paloma version of 'Forget You' will chart separately from their original versions, while 'Kidz', 'Someone Like You', 'Timshel' and 'Ready To Start' will be combined... that is assuming the releases are actually eligible to chart :P
