UK iTunes Popularity Bars

Adele could have two songs in the Top5 on Sunday.

Not to mention 2 albums in the top 5 also! I would imagine her bank manager will be absolutely delighted!

Adele down at 5, but she has also her performance at 43. Will they count separately on sunday?
Good question. No idea. Certainly the live Brits one seems to be taking sales from the album version one, that's a massive rise from 107 late last night!

Unlikely - SLY has given others too much of a headstart.

No, they will add the sales together as it's the same song. Remixes count always together too.

‘Someone Like You’ album verison is #4 on itunes and the live verison from lastnight is #7 does the live verison count too the charts?

I'm so happy for adele!
WOW!!! 4 + 7 is so close to number 1!!! She's 2! I wish she was number 1 this week instead of gaga, she will get it eventually, Adele not... :(

Yes, it's not about GaGa v Jessie now, it's about GaGa v Adele (and Adele's song hasn't even been released as a single!!). T'would be amazing if Adele could snatch that number 1 spot. Come on!!!

PS I've been told the album and live version sales are added together to calculate chart position. Is that true?

All versions will be combined at the end of the week. Currently Adele is #2 on the itunes chart combined.

Sunday's chart is going to be pretty interesting, poor Suedehead2 will have to prep up 3 different chart commentaries

Would this be a first if an album track goes to the top?

or is that a stupid question?

Nah its not a stupid question quite a good one actually, I think it was Coldplay who had a #1 with an album track (Viva La Vida) for a week.
