Has it even been released in the US? I mean, it's kind of worrying if it was released and couldn't even get in any of the charts! :o

When I've looked on youtube, there's those maps of the Earth where you can see which countries are viewing certain videos the most, and for most of Alexis Jordans videos it's the UK first, and then Australia, and the other countries like barely anything.

    Time to stream Happiness again!

I find it strange that the UK is by far her biggest market. Has she even had a hit in the US yet? Was Rihanna smashing worldwide at this early stage in her career

She is just as big in Australia as she is in the UK. Happiness went top 3 and sold Platinum there. And she is now starting to smash in Europe. Happiness is #1 on Norway iTunes and #8 on Netherlands iTunes. Her songs don't have US appeal (no featured rapper) and I don't think Alexis is aiming to make it the US, otherwise she would be promoting there which she isn't.

Well, to be fair, you can make it big in the US without a featured rapper (although it does help a lot to have one, for at least your debut single over there).

I remember Pon De Replay being rather big, but the follow up and the album doing very little, then S.O.S. being big and that era being moderately successful before she went stratospheric with GGGB

I know, was just saying. Happiness really is not the type of the song you'd expect to be big in the US. Alexis is promoting everywhere else but in the US for good reason

OMG ALBUM IS #8 IN MIDWEEKS AND GOOD GIRL #6!!! :cheer:
I found it rather disappointing on first listen. There were only two standouts that haven't already been released as singles and the six or so songs in between were very weak. Disappointing doesn't even describe it.

She is amazing

According to Vidcapper Happiness has sold 344.5k. It should get a Gold certification I think seeing it might re enter the top 40 this week. And it has a new peak of #8 in New Zealand. And should score a 4th and 5th top 10 peak in Norway and Netherlands by the end of the week. Slowly becoming a worldwide smash so pleased :cheer:
Good to see her success lasting longer than just one hit in the UK. I like Alexis, theres something quite charming about the simplicity of her music I find and she seems very sweet aswell. The album isnt extremly strong, well certainly not as strong as I hoped it would be but it's still a very good pop/dance album with quite a few strong tracks on it. I think 'Hush Hush' is probably my favourite of the non-singles.
The album is brilliant. Hush Hush and High Road must be the 3rd and 4th singles. Hush Hush is even better than Good Girl IMO
Alexis is now in Australia promoting for the album release there. WTF she promotes in places like Belgium and Australia but not the UK
Good Girl is #4 on iTunes combined. I really pray that she gets a new peak this week! Does anybody else think she will? 2 top 5 singles off a album will be really good for her seeing how little she promotes in the UK and I am so addicted to Hush Hush now

I don't think it'll pass #6, but that's still a good peak.

I'm actually addicted to 'Habit'. I'm kind of saddened I have to go out, I wanna keep listening to it.

Alexis is getting some really good promo here in Australia. She performed on Channel 9's breakfast show this morning which is the most popular channel afaik.
