May 10, 201213 yr Author Unfortunately, the rumour on Popjustice forums about Diana signing a record deal with Virgin seems to be false. :( Virgin signing isn't true. My "source" was a complete wind-up merchant so I'm not too happy. Also, Diana has finally replied to one of her fans asking about the release of the album on Twitter: I love my fans and I know they are eager for the album, which I love. But imagine how eager I am. What I really need now is your guys support, like you have always given me in the past. Its just patience and it will be upon us before we know it. It is still possible that legal issues with RCA as some of the material that she is wanting to use for her album was recorded while she was still signed with them: (Music To Make Boys Cry, Boy In Paris and Cinderella I think). That tweet does suggest that the album is definitely finished now and she just wants to release it!

Xx Asked if she would ever like to become a judge on the X Factor: @diana_music: yeah maybe one day far in the future after I'd worked Xtra hard x When asked what she is looking forward to most this summer, she replied: @diana_music: working hard and slamming at loads of festivals oh and turning 21!! And she has confirmed that she is the main support act for Olly's summer tour! @diana_music: This summer I'm going to be the main support for@ollyofficial on his summer shows.Big thanks to Olly for having me.so looking forward to it Great to hear the she is still just finishing off the album as is insisting it isn't too far off and that she is planning on performing at a lot of festivals! Re-watching her first X Factor Audition was amazing, she's amazing! :wub: It's made me EVEN MORE excited for her new album which I didn't think was possible!! :wub:

June 1, 201213 yr This girl is a legend and should be up there with Madonna in terms of sale :wub: :wub: I really hope you're not talking about the disaster that is the 'MDNA' era there. otherwise, yes, she is a legend and should be performing as such. :D occasionally 'once' comes on my ipod and everytime I hear it I just zone out, still not boring for me at all. I can remember how ecstatic I was when it reached number 1. :wub: the 'songs from the tainted cherry tree' album is also one of the msot underrated albums ever. I hope somehow justice can prevail and once alexandra is ditched from her label (give that a couple of months), diana can somehow earn back the public's love and get the success that she had in her 'overcome' era. there's a 0.1% chance that'll happen, which is sad, but a guy can dream. right now I just want to hear the new album. it can't be that long until something new comes along, surely? :(
June 1, 201213 yr Author I have no source for this, but I just read this comment under the YouTube video of Diana performing 'My Wicked Heart' on the X Factor about the controversy there was about Diana "plagarising" Red Hot Chili Peppers' 'Under The Bridge' in the chorus. In a radio interview the presenter asked Red Hot Chili Peppers if they were [aware of the My Wicked Heart controversy]and they said 'No, what do you mean?' The presenter played My Wicked Heart and the RHCP said 'I've never heard that before, I guess I see what you mean, it's kind of similar, but it's a different tone. Fair play though, it's a tune!' So yeah, she never got sued, and they were never planning to, all made up. I just found that interesting and fair play to the RHCP for liking the song - they must have good music taste! :D After the big deal the papers and news sites made about it, if this is true, it turns out there was nothing in the story! June 7, 201213 yr Author AND FINALLY, IT LOOKS LIKE THE ALBUM IS NEARLY READY!! @diana_music Love the fact of knowing my music is being worked on in production. Canny wait to hear. It looks like it is just about ready!! Plus she also tweeted that she has a week left before going back to work: @diana_music I have a week till I am working. Now what shall I do with this week? Book a spontaneous holiday? Go up north? Write a small novel? HMMMM!!! It looks like she will be releasing something, either a single or the whole album, prior to the Olly Murs support dates!! :cheer:

Same team that wrote Cinderella/Music to Make Boys Cry. 'I Am Stereo' (Dee Adam/MNEK/Diana Vickers) 'Copy and Paste' (Dee Adam/MNEK/Diana Vickers) Shame we'll never get to hear the latter two as MNEK confirmed they're not being used.
