Vickers will perform tracks from her chart-topping debut Songs From The Tainted Cherry Tree and its as-yet untitled follow-up. Tickets for both shows go on sale this Wednesday, June 13 at 9am. The singer-songwriter will reportedly release her new album before the end of the year. June 11, 201213 yr Author I really want to go to the manchester one again, she was SO good in february. also really excited to hear some new material, hopefully the official lead single this time! Hopefully! :D Let us know if you do go! I would love to go, but it is just too far away I think (both London and Manchester). However, I will definitely check in case it turns out it is possible, it all relies on train times which don't usually go in my favour :kink: Edited June 11, 201213 yr by Ryan741

June 17, 201213 yr Author Right, some more info on Diana! :cheer: Firstly, Diana has been writing with Monarchy confirmed by herself with this tweet: @diana_music: Lovely day in studio with the v talented Monarchy #lads.[/b]You can listen to one of their songs here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2w_1-GeaWCk Also, from Popjustice forums: A rumour is circulating on Twitter that Diana is apparently being lined up to be Cheryl's main support act on her forthcoming 'A Million Lights' tour. This would be massive for the Vickers if it's true. She does share the same PR company with Cheryl so it's possible. Amazing! In addition, from her page on her PR's website written in December 2011 http://www.supersonicpr.com/index.php/diana-vickers/: The independently-released album is the follow up to Diana's number one album, Songs From The Tainted Cherry Tree And finally, also from Popjustice forums: She's getting funding from the album through the Icebreaker Foundation, she played an acoustic version of Music to Make Boys Cry for them back in January at a party. I've emailed Icebreaker in the past and they confirmed they were helping Diana with funding for her 'project' in 2012. So! From that, we gather that Diana will be releasing her album independently with funding from the Icebreaker Foundation. There are also rumours that she could be the main support act for Cheryl's 'A Million Lights' tour and she has been writing with Monarchy. Of course some of this is purely speculation when not confirmed by Diana herself, but its still great to hear new potential information! If the Cheryl rumour is correct, that could be massive for Diana! :o Edited June 17, 201213 yr by Ryan741
June 27, 201212 yr Author Diana has been tweeting about a couple more studio sessions in the past week or so, and she posted this on Facebook today: In the studio as we speak, the album is sounding awesome, I have so many great tracks now, can't wait to share my work with you xx Dee As well as an AMAZING photo: http://a3.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-prn1/c0.0.403.403/p403x403/539495_10150987414814621_1204587070_n.jpg
July 14, 201212 yr Author Just reading through Diana's Popjustice forum topic and the members they are starting to get really annoyed with this project. I really hope this continual delay isn't going to lose her her core fanbase too! Let's just hope that something happens, whether new songs or even an announcement at her Manchester gig on Monday! She has recently had studio sessions with Monarchy, Mr Hudson and the duo behind 'Timebomb'. Please Diana give us some news!
July 14, 201212 yr It is an annoying wait, but just think of Jordin Sparks and then it all seems rushed.
July 15, 201212 yr Author Just found this video of Diana for her Collection 2000 project. Glad to see she is still working with them and hopefully we'll see a new Very range from her soon too! j_huTt1WsB0
July 15, 201212 yr Author Diana is currently on stage right NOW in Scarborough as the support act to Olly Murs! Her set is going to last between 7pm and 7.45pm so hopefully we'll get some more YouTube videos of her new material later tonight! :cheer: I've found a photo on Twitter of her performing! July 15, 201212 yr Who does the bitch think she is performing in front of a moat so her "fans" can't swamp her? And I'd hardly say Scarborough was Yorkshire  Edited July 15, 201212 yr by THEO.
July 15, 201212 yr Who does the bitch think she is performing in front of a moat so her "fans" can't swamp her? And I'd hardly say Scarborough was Yorkshire  look closer to the stage child, it's olly murs' stage. she's his support act, I'd more suggest that he's the one who'd be more concerned about his fans 'swamping him'. and also, if scarborough wasn't yorkshire, then what would it be? because it's far from the border of any of the other counties... Edited July 15, 201212 yr by Doug
July 15, 201212 yr Author Who does the bitch think she is performing in front of a moat so her "fans" can't swamp her? And I'd hardly say Scarborough was Yorkshire  Come on, I don't know if you are being serious or not. But obviously she has no control over where the stage is, and like Doug says it's Olly Murs' stage and Diana is just supporting him there is no need to call her a bitch! And obviously Scarborough is Yorkshire unless it's magically moved without everyone knowing!
July 15, 201212 yr I don't mean Scarborough isn't in Yorkshire, but the "welcome to Yorkshire" banner makes it out as if Scarborough's the biggest city/town there  And again, the moat thing was a joke... Moat/swamped/water... No?

Moat/swamped/water... No? I get you! There was no need to call her a bitch though, I thought you were attacking her for no reason! :P
July 15, 201212 yr Don't you just hate when a joke goes over somebody's head and they come across humourless in the process? :(
