Yeah, it only just went top 300 on UK iTunes I think. In the US I think it peaked at #60-something on iTunes, but another one of T.I.'s album tracks went to #4 on iTunes, so I guess his label just thought they may aswell release that instead. :lol:

 

She's blatantly going to have a massive comeback in a few years time though. I dunno, I can just see it now!! :D

Well, Ke$ha probably insisted she put at least a bit of autotune in the song, knowing her. :lol: I don't see why "song of the year" can't have autotune though. Songs like Boom Boom Pow would've sounded dreadful without autotune.

I can definately see the hype over this new Britney song. HIAM was good but this is a LOT better. Sadly, I think it'll do about the same. I'm not a fan of this airplay-sale business.

I think Christina just needs to stop shouting all her performances - that was the reason why she butchered the US national anthem, theres emotional use of melisma and then theres overuse of it

Yeah, perhaps later. Although I think T.I. is still in prison (again :(), so nothing is really happening with him at the moment. And the song that they did release as the 2nd single, That's All She Wrote, actually charted higher on the cherry-picking than after it got the airplay, etc. But again, they didn't make a video for that single, so that probably hindered it a lot.

 

It's a shame, if Christina did end up in prison, she and T.I. could've probably arranged some sort of video shoot for Castle Walls. :lol: But then they'd've probably been accused of copying the video for Telephone, because that also features scenes in a prison. :drama:

Such a shame everything went downhill for Christina since the release of 'Bionic' :( I love her voice and she definitely has one of the best voices in music. I bet we wont hear from her 'next' album till 2014 :wacko:
