Sooo, Rihanna recently asked her fans on Twitter what they would like as the 4th single from 'Loud'. She then ruled out Skin (as she thought going from S&M to Skin was too 'risky') and she can't release 'Raining Men' (as she released it already in America, peaked at #66)... So that narrows it down to 4 songs, 'California King Bed', 'Man Down', 'Cheers' and 'Fading' - So which do you think she should release. I think i'd go for 'California King Bed', but I could see her label going for 'Cheers'

I think something to do with Eminem's label is preventing this from being released. (Same thing happened for 'Airplanes (Part II)') So we won't ever see it released, unfortunately.

 

Out of the choices (and even if 'Complicated' was included) I want and think 'California King Bed'! It just HAS to be. I really wouldn't mind which song though as I actually love all the tracks left. ('Man Down' less so) but CKB has always been my standout :wub:

What a stupid topic/poll. You can't just include the songs YOU want to be released if you're asking what WE want.

 

I want Cheers next and Complicated fifth, or a new single with re-release fifth and then Complicated sixth.

I want California King Bed, I think Cheers might be it though.

Think he only mentioned them songs as Rihanna herself said -

 

"K so its lookin like Man Down, CKB, Fadin, Cheers! But this was the EXACT problem I had b4, I can't choose between these 4 songs! Helllp!!!"

 

Then went on to say:

 

"Man, I love CKB", "But Man Down is so GANSTA! Like dance hall queen type gangsta", "And Cheers makes me wanna get chocolate wasted!! Whether its the weekend or NOT"

 

She also said : "Ok, now gimme de top 2 in order of how they should be released! Remember its spring/summertime!!!!"

 

So looks like its possible 2 more songs will get released, and most likely be two of the three above.

Fair enough. She should be clever enough to realise that Man Down won't work as a single though. It's loooong and doesn't have that much of a hook, it's more about the vibe. Also since it's about MURDER and she wanted to move away from the controversy generated by S&M then it should obviously be Cheers. We need a really good PUB ANTHEM at the minute.

 

And then finish things off with Cali King Bed just to hook in the suckers for ballads.
