Howdy folks, welcome to the fifth edition of Buzzjack's Unknown Pleasures.

 

Basically you PM me songs that you don't think anyone else will already know, I then post a thread with links to them and we all listen happily before voting for our favourites (which in itself is before the final act, the epic results thread).

 

However, this being an internet forum full of chart geeks, we obviously need to have strict rules and here they are:

 

Rule ONE: There is no rule with regard to genre or length of track.

Rule TWO: The artist/band involved must NOT have reached the top 40 singles chart in the UK.

Rule THREE: The artist/band involved must NOT have reached the top 20 albums chart in the UK.

Rule FOUR: The song must NOT be on the current UK release schedule.

Rule FIVE: I reserve the right to refuse an entry if I feel it does not fit within the spirit of the competition.

Rule SIX: You must not at any point reveal or hint at which song you have sent.

Rule SEVEN: You must enter by PM and this PM must contain a link to the song on youtube. You may also include an MP3 of the song if you wish, this is advisable as your entry is likely to be at a disadvantage if you do not.

I hope that we will get about 30 entrants but I haven't set a limit on participants as yet. However, if the numbers should rocket then I will post a warning in the thread that we're approaching the sort of level where I may have to cap the entrant level.

It's a shame the song I want to send is probably known by a maximum of two others but falls foul of rules 2, 3 and 4.
