David Hasselhoff - Jump In My Car (how on earth did this go top 3?)

Sugababes - Girls

These in particular are very good additions! Thanks!

'Girls' may not be THAT horrible in the worst sense but considering their back catalogue it's awful.

Btw I love 'Alive' and 'Babies' didn't really kill Natasha's career outside the UK, did it?

Blue - anything apart from All Rise

Atomic Kitten - anything from them

Yea Atomic Kitten are a must. Although I sort of like Whole Again and covers will be disqualified so what's left there

I agree, Girls isn't that awful, and for a debuting girlband it might have been verging on alright, but for the Babes it was a huge misfire. They'd built their reputation on releasing quality original pop, why suddenly cash-in on a Boots advert with a lazy cover as a comeback single?

I think it sort of slipped under the radar everywhere else it was released, luckily for her. It was a very misguided comeback single - I didn't actually hate the song (same with your view on Girls) but it was a DIRE comeback single, lyrically tragic/desperate. It didn't quite kill her career off as Soulmate then also managed to peak at #7 a few months later but I think her reputation was damaged a little bit by it personally. I know releasing ballads first is quite risky, but in this case I'd have gone with Soulmate first, and then Say It Again or (No More) What If's - by the time the 4th single had come, she'd have had the pick of the new US tracks, and could have released Pocketful of Sunshine as a single here to good success. So yes, I do think Babies sort of massively hindered her UK career - luckily she saw sense not to release the track (or even include it on her album ) in the US!

As for Alive, to me personally it came across as a poor attempt to re-create the 'once in a career' magic of Don't Stop Movin'. I didn't like Love Ain't Gonna Wait For You much either...Say Goodbye was the only single of theirs that I enjoyed as 'S Club' but they really should have put out Let Me Sleep as a single...the Seeing Double album actually wasn't that bad at all.

The Rose was a Bette Midler cover. Cupid's Chokehold was sort of a cover too of Breakfast In America by Supertramp - they added some new verses though so I'm not sure that it counts.

Everyone's being very kind to some of the awful 'indie' bands that became popular in the mid 90s.

So I shall nominate all of these

Razorlight - 'America'

The Kooks - 'Naive'

The Automatic - 'Monster'

The View - 'Same Jeans'

Anything by The Courteeners and The Enemy

Everything by Scouting For Girls

I'll leave Snow Patrol alone as long as that awful Leona Lewis cover of 'Run' goes in.

Scouting For Girls

Ooh I forgot!

I like the others you mentioned though

gooddelta: thanks for pointing out that The Rose is a cover. I don't want to include Bop Bop Baby though so is there anything awful left... They must make the list!

My Humps is the worst record of all time never mind the last decade

actually you could add in every other BEP song as well

whoever said 1980 by Estelle must be on crack it's a great song

O-Town - Liquid Dreams (This is actually horrifying)

City High - Caramel (I love What Would You Do, but this was an awful followup)

Platinum 45 - Oi!

Precocious Brats - Big Girl

DJ Luck & MC Neat - Masterblaster 2000 (or Piano Loco)

OPM - Heaven Is A Halfpipe

Anything by Limp Bizkit

I don't know? Queen Of My Heart? What a turgid borefest that was :drama: They don't have much left when you take out the covers!

Sugababes - Shape

Craig David feat Sting - Rise & Fall (I just can't stand this song in any form  So self indulgent)

Weren't these two the same song?

I remember being very confused because they were both released at around the same time.

Strangely I quite like 'Shape' but can't seem to remember how 'Rise & Fall' goes at all.

They sampled the same Sting song I believe, and came out within two months of each other. Sting re-sung the main hook of his version on the Craig David version but didn't feature personally on the Sugas version.

It's a blessing and why Shape isn't a complete 0/10. It's a 2/10 at best imo.

Utterly horrid track and by far the worst thing they've ever released.

I'd include either Life Got Cold, or Whole Lotta History or better yet, Call The Shots by Girls Aloud.

They have some superb uptempos but haven't released a ballad that is anywhere near as good as Shape

I've never understood all the 'Shape' hate. Whilst I admit it's probably the weakest of all the second line-up's singles I still find it a nice enough track at the best of times.

Danzel - Pump It Up

Anything by Peter Kay

The re-make of Don't They Know It's Christmas?

Blackout Crew - Bbbbbbounce

Blackout Crew - Put A Donk On It

My personal favourite. I find it both hilariously bad and offensively bad:

Soulja Boy - Yaaaah Trick Yaaaah!

I dare you to watch it from start to finish! :D

Rubbish! It is by far his best album of his career.

The album is fine, agreed. However 'Rudebox' the TRACK is truly DIABOLICAL in every possible way, and I stand by that.

TK Maxx costs less :funky:

Everything released by JLS

I didn't mind Robbie's Rudebox album, the highlight was definately lovelight
