It must be just me that thinks this album isn't "samey" at all..

I think its a proper thorough consistant album xD with different genres.

Ibiza Dance - Tonight and Elephant

90's - Let It Go, Oh La La (which is incredible), and Devil In Me (Utterly amazing too)

R&B - Daylight Robbery, Between The Sheets

Bubblegum Pop - Love You That Much, This Love Will Survive

and of course the ballad xD

I dont like or dislike alex, i liked all her singles from Overcome, havent liked either of her new songs but it will be a shame that someone with her talent and voice will limp into a poor chart position, especially when you consider her potential

This whole era was a slow-motion car crash from the very beginning, with all of the delays in getting the first single out there. It's so disappointing to see it actually happening (Let It Go not Top 30, album presumably going Top 15 at best) when it's been inevitable for so long.

I saw her at G-A-Y on Saturday and she really pulled it out of the bag. She's a GREAT live performer and really stunning vocalist. It saddens me even more that her reputation has been so badly cheapened.

iTunes:

Let it Go  #100

Heartbreak on Hold  #38 (standard edition isnt top 100)

It's just getting worse.. what's going to happen? :o

Its hard to say whether that XF appearance hampered her chances and limited her likeability with the public though. Gary and Tulisa have done well since with number 1 albums/singles and their popularity remains untarnished. I didnt think she came across as a Diva personally. Maybe its just plain and simple not good enough material and lack of promo and radio play as opposed to Overcome.

I havent listened to the album yet but if there is a strong third single on there she needs to get it out quick and hope it rectifies this mess

To be brutally fair, ALOT of artists suffer flops in their career. Sure, not as bad as this (although The Saturdays latest album was a commercial DISASTER), but the likes of Avril Lavigne, Leona Lewis, Chris Brown, Jennifer Lopez, Nelly, Nicole Scherzinger, Shakira, Enrique Iglesias, Jason Derulo, Kelly Clarkson, Robbie Williams and even UK acts like Chipmunk, Pixie Lott, The Saturdays, Alesha Dixon etc have ALL suffered underperforming albums/flops. It's even more common with second albums. Alexandra will be guaranteed another album simply because she's proven she can sell with Hallelujah, Bad Boys, Broken Heels, All Night Long, Start Without You and Overcome all being hits. Her tour also did well. If The Saturdays can get on to their 5th album (with two BOMBING, one scraping 200K and one platinum) then trust me, Alexandra Burke will be fine.
Well we have an apparent midweek position....... 10+(10-6).....

There's no actual reason you can't just say 14 just FYI. I've never understood why people on this site do that in relation to midweeks!

But obviously that's horrific.

Sorry, just didn't know if we're meant to be cautious during midweeks but I just realised that its Wednesday so it's gonna be available for all to see  My bad

I thought it would be in the top 10.

#14  No words...

This  It's probably going to drop more during the week aswell

I just can't even  I expected it to be higher than that come the end of the week, let alone the first midweek! It's a disappointing album after the amazing Overcome but not this much so...

At this point I just hope it manages to stay top 20, which is pathetic really :(

At least it will go top 20! I feared the worst after looking seeing the iTunes copy bombing
