#56 in today's mids - Serious floppage - Its going to sell less than 10k in 2 weeks at this rate!

I can't see there being another single from this album, and if there is it will go nowhere. I wonder whats next for Alexandra :o

She's still doing okay in Europe without promotion, it's not all about the UK so with a bit of a push, her main focus could be the European market.

What's 'doing okay' though? What are some of her current chart positions?

Looking at Wikipedia, Elephant charted in a couple of European countries (Belgium, Slovakia and Croatia to be exact) and that's it. Let It Go hasn't charted outside of the UK and Ireland.

Alexandra needs to go to the US ASAP, with or without this album

I'm still a bit shocked that Alexandra has failed this much to connect with the music buying public with her 2nd album! 'Heartbreak On Hold' might not be the greatest album but it is a good pop album and deserves more than 10,000 sales in 2 weeks! Also even with 'Let It Go' being reduced to 59p has failed to stop it plummeting down the iTunes charts :mellow:

Neither HOH or LIG are anywhere to be seen in the top 100 on UK iTunes...LIG has even been made 59p and still not back in top 100 :o

 

I'm really loving the piano version of HOH.

She unfollowed Char Grant, her flop manager.

 

Appearentlys he also unfollowed her stylists but we were not certain whether she actually followed them at all

I've added Elephant, Tonight and Beating Still to my Summer Playlist. Everything else on the album is terrible, sadly.

I think Alexandra needs to step away from this project and just accept it for the disaster that it is - She needs to concentrate on returning with a killer comeback song that we know she is capable of.

She did FOOLISHLY say in that one interview she hopes they re-release the album, so maybe that's what they'll do. Maybe Simon won't want her on X Factor after this flop though :/

Exactly this! I can't believe over 800,000 copies of 'Overcome' have been sold yet 'Heartbreak On Hold' has struggled to pass 10,000! And it's not like 'Elephant' did too badly as it still reached #3 and sold over 100k. I'm just baffled how over the space of 3 months that everyone seems to have deserted her!

I just hoped Alex would've been on Graham Norton, instead of Cheryl or Katy..

 

THat ones is also on in Holland and I bet it's on in other European countries too
