March 10, 201114 yr Wait, Right Said Fred denied SL2 of a #1? Feck. On A Ragga Tip is another example of a song I only found out the title and artist of recently :P EDIT: Whatever that KWS song is also denied SL2 of #1. Well actually if was split between Right Said Fred then KWS but pretty much yeah. :( EDIT: Beat me to it. :P
March 10, 201114 yr Oh my Hits, I can't make head nor tail of passion. :( What are you suggesting? You're my Lois Lane. I don't understand this exchange at all. :(
March 10, 201114 yr I don't mind Deeply Dippy, but its odd that that got to number 1- and I'm Too Sexy didn't
March 10, 201114 yr +15 Shakespears Sister ‘Stay’ (The greatest song ever!) +12 Tasmin Archer ‘Sleeping Satellite’ (Love this track! whatever happend to her) +10. March 10, 201114 yr You're my Lois Lane. Pfft!!! It was clearly all about: Ey ey ba day ba wadladie day, Ay um ba day, Ba day ba wadladie day, Ey ey ba day ba wadladie day, Ay um ba da- ay um ba da-da-da-da wadladie day, ONE! :D
March 10, 201114 yr I don't mind Deeply Dippy, but its odd that that got to number 1- and I'm Too Sexy didn't  I'm Too Sexy was kept off #1 six times in a row by Bryan Adams. Also I think it's fair to say ITS is the more remembered song :P
March 10, 201114 yr I don't understand this exchange at all. :( Dandy* loves 'Deeply Dippy' a little tiny bit more than I do. ;)

March 10, 201114 yr I don't understand this exchange at all. :( That's okay. You're far too iccle to be expected to understand. It's all very 1992.
March 10, 201114 yr I'm Too Sexy was kept off #1 six times in a row by Bryan Adams. Also I think it's fair to say ITS is the more remembered song :P 'ITS' also probably sold double what 'DD' sold during their time on the chart. 'ITS' was the 4th biggest selling single of 1991 - I don't even think 'Deeply Dippy' made the Top 40 of 1992. It was clearly a low sales period because The Chart Show had some interesting #1 singles - as well as SL2, they had 'Let's Get Rocked' by Def Leppard #1 one week. (I mean yeah it officially got to #2 but still).

March 10, 201114 yr Author  I am Mark, and my idea has now meant that Queen has another chance, a song which neither I or Dandy like! As you say, you're not Mark so the comment wasn't aimed at you... ...but, as you ask, I didn't want Queen to get through - incredibly overrated track. Oh... Anyway, it's too bad you don't like the greatest song of all time/best selling non-charity song. Of course I don't know usernames by their real name so I didn't know what you were talking about or what the comment was aimed at lol. Anyway, after just seeing the 1992 year end chart MJ should of had some weeks at no.1 - would have made a great Xmas Number One instead of Whitney. Also great to see KWS was high up - 90s dance is great! If only I'm Too Sexy got to number one, it really deserved it as its the only song RSF are remembered for. I would have given it lots of points too. That missing out cos of Bryan Adams is just as bad as Dario G missing out thanks to Elton John

March 10, 201114 yr That 1992 chart furthers my belief that 1992 was an absolutely appalling year. En Vogue at #50 though  Current songs through to the "wildcard" round are: +213 1991 Queen "Bohemian Rhapsody/These Are The Days of Our Lives (1991)" (5th) +199 1990 Adamski "Killer" (5th) +167 1991 Chesney Hawkes "The One and Only" (6th) +151 1990 Maria McKee "Show Me Heaven" (6th) +151 1991 Cher "The Shoop Shoop Song (It's In His Kiss)" (7th) +148 1990 England New Order "World in Motion" (7th) Oh my :o At least this means Adamski gets another chance. I'm pleased at the majority of BuzzJack showing a surprising amount of taste and not giving Whitney huge points just because she's a female solo artist. She's got quite a few -2s :D I'd guess Firestarter is more popular. I hope Mariah doesn't get the same treatment in 1994. These damn HATERS. And why are people so worried The Prodigy won't make it through? In fact, I'm going to make a prediction: Firestarter will WIN the 1996 group. The only thing that might beat it is 2 Become 1, but it will be top four, no doubt.

The only thing that might beat it is 2 Become 1, but it will be top four, no doubt. I haven't actually seen the list of 1996 #1s but I'm just guessing that Firestarter and Breathe are unlikely to figure in anyone's top 10s aside from a certain number of big fans (incl. me of course) just due to the sheer number of #1s that year and the fact they're hardly the most BJ friendly songs ever. I'm hoping that they'll get enough big points from fans to get at least one of them to qualify if not both. I'm fairly confident Firestarter at least will make the wildcard list if not the main list but I'm more worried about Breathe which is the better of the two songs in my opinion (although with Firestarter being my second favourite song of all time and Breathe being my first, that doesn't say anything bad about the quality of Firestarter :P) Edited March 10, 201114 yr by Bray
