Right Round, My First Kiss and all 6 of her own singles.
March 11, 201114 yr She wasn't credited on 'Right Round' in the US but yea technically it is her 8th. Edited March 11, 201114 yr by SKOB
March 11, 201114 yr I took a look at my archives (I have the weekly charts since 2002) and indeed Kesha wasn't credited on 'Right Round' when it rose to no. 1 (Feb 28 2009) but she got the credit when the song held the pole position for the second week. So she officially has eight Top 10 hits and three chart-toppers.

Performers are often listen without the "featuring/duet with" parts on the charts (as well as B sides), that's why I don't rely on them. I better use the original credit on the singles... if it's an album track, I use the track's credit on the album ;)Â

Katy Perry is a recent example: the charting version of 'ET' is not on original "Teenage Dream" so technically it shouldn't be counted as one (and probably the fourth number one) hit single from that album.. But it will. Edited March 18, 201114 yr by SKOB
March 19, 201114 yr Also it's especially tricky to count how many hits an act have had from one album these days. Katy Perry is a recent example: the charting version of 'ET' is not on original "Teenage Dream" so technically it shouldn't be counted as one (and probably the fourth number one) hit single from that album.. But it will. The original spent just 1 week on the Hot 100 when the album was released. I count it as a single from the album, and I'm sure there will be a repackaged album available soon!
