Rochelle has just described the new single as "different/fierce" on Twitter (the official account for the group).

wHEN i read the story about the new single from i make out the new album is getting a december release, while december is a great mopnth for high sales im not sure if the saturdays are strong enough album sellers to release in december as they really could forgotton about in such a huge time for albums, the flipside however though would be if the new single they are on about is an absolute smash december album release could be of huge benefit to them.

I think this new album needs to do well, they still havnt managed what i would call a massively successful album and their record company to be fair is really standing by them and given them chances, hopefully the upcoming material will be where the saturdays really start to establish themselves. Single wise they are doing quite well but for some reason their single success isnt paying dividends when it comes to album sales.

I hope this hanst come accross in a way that im dissing their success because im not, id love to see them have a big selling album but i fear if the new album doesnt perform they would stand a chance of being dropped.

I think this means they think they stand a chance of an xfactor slot!

They're not releasing the album in December. They're going a tour to support the album in December though, yes. The album is scheduelled for release in September with the seccond single a week prior to that in August.

Unless Girls Aloud come back soonish, Fascination can't afford to drop The Sats. Look at Sophie Elis-Bextor. She's had lack-luster singles and a delayed album for God knows how long and she's still signed to them. I agree though that if this album dosen't live up to expectation, they'll be treading on boggy ground for sure - But I don't see that happening with all these better known producers they're using:- Taio Cruz, Labrinth, Steve Mac, the list goes on. Fingers crossed it sells well.

Do Fascination still exist though? They were in trouble apparently in late 2010 at least. Cheryl/Sats might release just via Polydor / Geffen.

Yes they still exist, but it wouldn't be the end of the world if they merged back into Polydor.

Looking forward to the new single. Hoping we get something like Ego or Higher rather than Forever is Over
I'm really excited to see how 'different they can go! I agree with Sabrina though, I'm hoping for something like Ego/Higher rather than FIO (though I wouldn't mind a proper ballad)

Oh, not this again...

Init, if it hapens it hapens, if it don't, then we'll just bitch how The Wanted got a slot instead (sarcasm). :P

I said THEY think.. not ME WANTING.

But we know it's being released in September not December so the whole 'xfactor performance to co-inside with their album being released' was irrelevent.

Imo

- There lead Single need to be more stable, unlike Missing You.. dropping every week.

- Saturdays need a strong opening week with Sales 30k+ (Album) With alot of promotion pushing to 300k.

I think both Album & Single need to do well as i think the management have put a lot of money into The Saturdays.
