nice to see Rise Against getting possibly their first top 40 album with Endgame, will be considerably higher in the States though probably with them already having 2 US Top 10 albums there already. Also nice to see Funeral For A Friend's album with a chance of top 40 as well, bought both of them this week and they are great albums :)

The Alex Turner EP in the album chart has only 5 tracks + plus Intro track, I'm guessing this will be shafted to the Budget Album chart.

I wonder if the Unofficial CR track by Subo and Geraldine gets an early release on Friday to download.

Her name is Nicole  Hopefully she'll get the number one. I think people are overestimating The Wanted's chance.. I think it's Adele that Nicole needs to look out for!..

Album

Rihanna 4+3

What does these numbers mean, please ?

Yeh but Martin, surely most Wanted fans would have either pre-ordered the song or rushed out to buy it yesterday! If it can't be number 1 in the first midweeks with the addition of physicals then I can't see it at number 1!

I know it's a charity song, but I can't really see them having massive physical sales

Anyhow, The Wanted track is pants, I prefer Nicole at #1 over the Wanted

Hope the Naked and Famous can get a Top 20 album!

The budget chart has nothing to do with length, it's just if the dealer price is below a certain amount.

Nicole being #1 today pretty much defeats all chance of The Wanted making #1 this week. Adele, however, may still be a challenger, especially if she gets a big boost from CR.

Surprised to see Parade top 5, I suspect they'll fall to 6 or 7 by Sunday though. It has definitely performed much better than I expected.

The Vaccines by their very nature should be super frontloaded so I can see Adele having the top 2 albums again  :D I hope The Vaccines can get at least #3 though.

Kanye top 40 in the singles, hopefully it'll stay that way. I don't want it to outpeak Power though as Power is far far better (AOTL is by far the weakest of the MBDTF songs I've heard). Power deserved way better than #36 :(

I wasn't expecting Nicole to be number 1 today, that means she has it this week, The Wanted's performance and physicals will help it stay at 2, but their too far behind to challenge for number 1- weird, I guess the term 'official comic relief single' doesn't excite the public any more, yet the novelty unofficial still manage to still by the bucketload- odd

anyway Parade top 5! :o they definitely won't stay there though

great to see Wheatus top 40, not so great to see Jeremih climbing

I guess Parade will end up being around #7 or #8.

Seems like they're already falling on iTunes.

Woo, Kanye and Wheatus top 40 :D

Chuffed for the Vaccines, should be comfortably top 5 but I really hope they hold onto to #2 :D

Beady Eye update please?

That would be an excellent #1 if it stays there, fingers crossed! I'm amazed, this time last week I thought it had #20 written all over it.

This! Except I was thinking more like #4, but I'm really surprised at how it's doing!

3 Adele [19]

4 Jessie J

:o No way! Didnt see that coming...

#1 for 2 months on Sunday for '21', amazing. When was the last time that happened?

Nicole being #1 today is great, she should stay there now, but i'm sure her lead isnt too big.

I can see adele been #1 and #2 in the album chart this week.

Ouch at Take Thats album position,17 place drop, hopefully it will climb up again during the week.

Strange that Only Girl is now selling more than What's My Name? again! :o And it's not as if What's My Name? was front-loaded or anything either. Infact, Only Girl was the one that was front-loaded!!

How was OG(ITW) in any way frontloaded? It spent ages in the top 10, then it fell quickly for all of 1 week before stabilising again.

Also OG(ITW) has probably only overtaken because of DOI.

Unrelated: I assume Adele - RITD is either 9 or 10 today depending on where Dr. Dre is?

Well, I know Only Girl wasn't very frontloaded, but I meant that it was held back, so it had a massive proportion of its sales fitted into a few weeks, and its sales have generally been decreasing week on week. Songs that have that done to them tend to spend less time in the chart. Whilst What's My Name? was put on iTunes before any UK promotion of it really began, so it climbed to a peak, and then fell.

The Wheatus track in the top 40, is that Teenage Dirtbag?

I noticed it doing well in the iTunes chart since its only 49p. I myself downloaded it :D
