I don't think it was even top 100 on its second week and it still sold over 100k- which was incredible imo :o

 

I'm not saying its a certainty, but don't use itunes as an indicator of its success

There was a difference though as the CIN medley thing was aimed squarely at kids and the release was perfectly timed for a cheap stocking filler at christmas, I'm not convinced that the new one will have the same attraction.

I reckon something dodgy is going on here.. no one expected them to make the top 10 in the first place.

 

I know that a lot of Parade fans have been buying about ten copies each (a couple from every eligible outlet) to boost their chart position. I'm not sure that's 'dodgy' though... they just know how to play the system, though obviously it does mean that where they've charted is not a genuine reflection of their popularity.

I really don't think this will get number 1... i can't see them getting over 30k sales in Physicals!! I know about the last Children in Need thing but sales were poor and they topped the charts with 50k

 

Unless Peter Kay & Susan Boyle break top 10, i can See Adele getting number 1.

The Wanted will drop to around 3 tommorow morning as Nicole is gaining on them.

If Nicole is back in the UK this week to promote her album, she might as well continue promoting 'Don't Hold Your Breath' whilst she's here too. It might just help keep the song at #1 officially in the UK chart for a second week. Even if the album doesn't sell enough to go #1 (as Adele's album is still selling well over 100k a week).

no it didn't, it sold 138k overall for that week, over 50% of those were physicals - get your facts right :P

 

top 10 would definitely help it, but for now it just needs to sell OK-ish digitally, and the physicals will do most of the work- and I have them at 40 on my feed

 

the reason why its doing so poorly digitally is simple really- why would you want that on your ipod? :lol:
