They;re only currently at 3 on physicals - being beaten my McFly (who were lucky to go top 40 this week)... even if there is a physical rush; I doubt it gonna make that much difference tbh

Parades physicals are obviously helping, they've been doing signings and have bundles which include, 2 CD's each with 4 different versions of Louder on and a download for the single and instrumental, all for £5. How many copies would this count as?

Speaking of Parade, I have just noticed they are in free fall. Their down to twenty :o.

whats with the mega Nicole love on here and for her to be #1 lol? Im just confused to the epic appeal she and her music have on here? What is it about her sound and persona that Im missing? Even if BTW was sub par, I understand why people would feel that way about Gaga- but what exactly is the appeal/ driving force that makes Nicole Schitzuuzuzuzger such a stand out blazing star lol?

To be honest, I really could not give a flying whatever about her persona! :lol: So if you're thinking "Oh, but Nicole is such a boring person, why is Don't Hold Your Breath #1?", that might be your answer. :) I think a very large proportion of people buying the song don't care who the singer is, and what their personality is. That's also why artists with less pleasant/non-existant personalities can still do well in the charts too.

 

Yeah, for me, I simply think it's a very good song. And also the fact that I want a different #1 very badly this week is also a large factor in me supporting her a lot at the moment. :D

 

The charts as a whole are going to be very confusing for you to grasp if you think people buy songs based on artist's personalities! The only real artist where I think that might happen a lot is with, perhaps, Lady Gaga. I only say that though, because when most people give their reasons for liking her, they usually talk about her (she's so creative, she's an icon, she writes her own songs, she does really good videos, she's revolutionized pop music, etc.), whilst fanbases of other artists usually talk about the actual music they put out, and why they like that. Although I'm generalizing a lot here. :lol:
