Seriously though, I've been finding some really good remixes of E.T.. And it was funny, because they played it on the radio today, and the presenter was like "Kanye must've been payed a LOT to rap those lyrics on the song". All I heard in his rap was "alien sex", and I was like WTF? :blink: :lol:

I should rephrase that then.. No "major" airplay. It's probably stations like BBC 1xtra that are playing it. Johnny from Capital was praising Yeah 3x this morning, but for some reason I really can't see him doing the same about Look At Me Now

 

Although, his next single in the US "She Ain't You" samples Michael Jackson so people will probably just call him a wannabe

 

Yeah, Radio 1Xtra has playlisted it (I think it's on their B-list at the moment). I haven't seen it playlisted anywhere else though. But you're right, it's only reaching a tiny audience on the radio, and I just can't imagine it being big, however hard I try.

 

It's difficult to say a song gets no airplay, because there's so many obscure radio stations. Any song, there's probably someone playing it somewhere. :lol: And, to be honest, there's probably going to be some radio station that plays his whole album out in full sometime around now. When Galaxy FM used to exist, they had a show on Friday evenings, where they played some very urban music, and they'd sometimes get an artist and just play one of their albums from start to finish! I remember them doing it with Usher's most recent album (before it got re-released or whatever happend) about a year ago. That's why I find it strange that Hey Daddy has just got released, because I heard it on the radio about a year ago!

 

Yeah, releasing a Michael Jackson sampling song might not be the best career move for him. Although it didn't hurt Rihanna with Don't Stop the Music, to be fair.

Hmmm, I'm starting to doubt whether Kay & Boyle will even go top 3 now... relatively sure they'll be top 10 at least but I actually think Adele is likely to be #1 again.

I notice small changes in speed, I learn the lyrics and beat of songs easily. It is a curse :wacko:.

I can take ages to learn the lyrics, especially sung lyrics, although I think that's because I don't usually concentrate a lot on them. I find it easier to remember raps, because they sort of flow off the tongue, and they're full of rhyming patterns, and such, which makes them easy to remember if it's a good rapper. But that's just me. :lol:

 

One thing that always annoys me is when you listen to a song on youtube and it's in a different key to the original! I understand why they change it, obviously, but it's really difficult to get used to sometimes! :drama:

People have to buy Thriller/HWR now, they skipped Santana's totally amazing verse on the episode, so people are missing out on pure amazingness if they don't buy! :( She has a LUSH voice, by far the best in the show imo :wub:
