March 21, 201114 yr Author Hey :D, some comments: 1. Sanna Nielsen - I'm In Love (3) (CR-4-2-4-3-1) She finally makes it! Did you like the album? Good to hear you received your CDs! 3. Blue - I Can (NEW) (CR-3) Wer'e gonna win! :heehee: 10. Nicole Scherzinger - Don't Hold Your Breath (54) (CR-18-OUT-39-46-49-57-55-54-10) Quite surprised this managed to reach number one, doesn't strike me as that amazing 33. Ell & Nikki - Running Scared (NEW) (CR-33) Really like this one, fingers crossed they can nail the live vocals on the night 44. Kati Wolf - What About My Dreams (NEW) (CR-57-44) This year's Je Ne Sais Quoi. Love it, really hope Hungary get to the final 50. Alex Gaudino feat Kelly Rowland - What A Feeling (NEW) (CR-50) Heard a live clip of this somewhere, maybe Popjustice. Sounded pretty good! 64. Alex Sparrow - Get You (NEW) (CR-64) It wasn't as good as it sounded on paper, but it should see Russia comfortably into the top 10 72. Anastasia Vinnikova - I Love Belarus (NEW) (CR-72) This is alright, but I really don't see it qualifying Thanks Ghosty 1. Yes! She had to, at least for one week, it's my favourite single of hers to date and she can't be #1 less forever! Yep, they sent me out a replacement order which was good of them considering the value! The first one must have got lost in the post as they're adamant that it was sent out and it never turned up here despite being first class recorded delivery a week and a half ago! Sanna's album is a massive grower actually, I found it boring at first but on repeated listen a lot of tracks started to stand out. 3. I actually wouldn't be surprised! 10. I like it a lot now actually but indeed it never had #1 written all over it, especially considering who it's by  Nicole and solo success don't go hand in hand usually! 33. Indeed, although if they can't that's one less competition for Blue :kink: 44. Not sure that I like it that much to be honest but it's very good - just realised I forgot to correct its status from 'new' to a climber :drama: 50. It is very good, definitely reminds me of something although I can't remember what  64. Agreed on both counts, his voice stops me from loving it, with a stronger vocalist it could have been quite special but his accent is bizarre... 72. Same I guess...

I think I still prefer Empty Room at the moment, but I'm In Love is fast becoming a big favourite of mine. 10 - Quite, and I was even more surprised at Parade going top 10  33 - True. At the moment though, out of all the entries, I can only really see Blue winning. France is the favourite, but I think it's just too specialised to win the contest  44 - I wouldn't worry, my chart is probably littered with errors  . What About My Dreams isn't as good as Je Ne Sais Quoi, far from it actually, but out of this year's entries, it's the best typical europop entry imo. 64 - It is a bizarre vocal, but I loved his 2008 Eurovision attempt so I kind of knew what to expect

Empty Room crashed down my charts quite quickly looking back - it went 3-8 and then bombed down :drama: I wasn't quite as big an MF loon back then as I am now though, although that said, 11 MF entries charted for me in 2008...but only three went top ten I think (Charlotte, Sanna and Sibel) :o In answer to the other half of your question which I forgot to answer - yep, they sent me out a replacement order which was good of them considering the value! The first one must have got lost in the post as they're adamant that it was sent out and it never turned up here despite being first class recorded delivery a week and a half ago! Sanna's album is a massive grower actually, I found it boring at first but on repeated listen a lot of tracks started to stand out. 10. Haha, that was rather a huge shock! One of those random top ten pop singles like Lemar and Gabriella Cilmi last year! 33. I agree, it doesn't scream 'winner' but it does scream 'more chance than everything else here' imo. Estonia are at the top of oddschecker but I really can't see that one winning at all...France at least has the potential to landslide it if people are in that sort of mood. 44. I do try and double check it before I post it but sometimes things slip through the net  There's not a lot of Europop about is there, I guess everyone's cottoned onto the fact that it does nothing in the contest anymore :drama: 64. I'm not sure that I ever heard that song tbh...

I should think they'll be able to claim back the loss on that order, but good of them to send out another copy rather quickly. I have given the Sanna album a quick run through and it sounded alright, haven't had chance to listen to it fully yet. 10 - It was totally bizarre. I've seen the video on tv a couple of times, but apart from that I didn't think it had much promotion. That said, I haven't checked the Radio 1 playlist for ages so maybe they're on that! 33 - I think they're hoping Estonia will win after Lena won with a quirky entry last year. Estonia have a great song, but the chorus lets it down. 44 - Quite, maybe we'll start to see a shift in the viewing/looning demographic as the schlager fans start to go off it :o 64 - wKd8P9MkHos Amazing (at the time)

Hero was the most successful on mine, and #4 on my 2008 EOY chart in fact :o I know I take the p*** out of her terrible performance/staging but it's still up there with my favourite ESC entries of all time! Yeah, I expect so - I've never had a problem with them in the past so I assumed it was just a postal error, and I'm glad that it was as I'd hate not to have that site, it's so much more affordable than CDon. The highlights, imo, are the four songs from the album in my chart  But it does grow and grow with each listen. 10. They weren't initially on the Radio 1 playlist, but they were added last week (so R1 would have reacted after seeing where they were in the midweeks) - how they got quite so high with so little support from anywhere is bemusing for what is essentially an album track quality song  33. I have a feeling you're right, and I agree. The verses are very interesting/strong lyrically and production wise, but the chorus is quite...childish sounding? Like it comes from another song or something  44. I think you may be right. Luckily, whilst I'm a big schlager fan, I like other genres just as much - I can get my schlager fix in MF so I'm happy to have the variety in ESC and would only stop following it if everything in the contest became rock/metal or something  Even so, I'd watch it still for the voting and stuff! 64. It's not bad, wouldn't have been a favourite of mine though - although it's better than the pedestrian Believe, i.e. the blandest winner ever

There was a CD single of it, but I doubt that had much effect. 33 - The verses are very similar to Kerli's music, particularly Walking On Air, but the chorus could have been lifted off a Lolly album  44 - I'm the same, I can appreciate the range of genres, but I do like to see some traditional europop amongst the lineup. 64 - Agreed there. At the time though and for a brief spell, I loved New Russian Kalinka, it went top 3 in my chart  :drama: .

Talk about abysmal  Thank god they tweaked the lyrics! 10. Indeed! Probably not, although it was very old-skool - a 2CD set, both with remixes and an enhanced CD with video :o 33. I completely agree, it's a strange contrast - with a different chorus it *could* have been up there with my favourites of the year! 44. I like to see it there from a musically satisfying point of view but I always feel so bad for whoever sends it that they have a certain flop on their hands :( 64. Wow :o I think it would have made top 30-ish for me. I don't think Believe ever even made my top 50 in the end, most winners usually do if I hadn't liked them beforehand as I get caught up in the hype but with Believe I was just 'if Russia can win with that, they can win with anything ' and was very disgruntled about the whole affair.
March 23, 201114 yr :hi: How's it going? :) 3. Blue - I Can (NEW) (CR-3) Haven't heard this one yet! You seem to think it'll be THE song to win? I can see that happening if they tour Europe prior to the constest like Jade did... But I can't see them coming higher than Jades 5th tbh. :( (Based on not hearing the song yet so my opinions may change upon hearing it!) 4. Jennifer Lopez feat Pitbull - On The Floor (6) (CR-11-16-30-OUT-42-9-6-4) This will be THE song to get her to #1. I feel most are getting tired of RedOne now, but this is a little different so fingers crossed. :D 8. Adele - Someone Like You (4) (CR-22-32-1-1-3-4-8) I still find this a tad dull, but I do think it's nice. Infinately better than Make You Feel My Love. :P 10. Nicole Scherzinger - Don't Hold Your Breath (54) (CR-18-OUT-39-46-49-57-55-54-10) UK #1. :cheer: I'm addicted atm/ :( 15. Britney Spears - Hold It Against Me (12) (CR-3-1-2-5-5-8-7-7-12-15) Woah. The longegegevittttty. :o Only dropped 3 places, clearly you're not tiring of it... 27. Parade - Louder (Re-entry) (CR-58-53-57-64-OUT-27) Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. Such a BORING song. So surprised it made the Top 10. :o I read a post you said about there being 2 CDs for £1.49 each in HMV. I saw that was like "what?!", expecting there to be like one song on each and there was like 5 tracks on both! I would have bought both if the song wasn't rubbish. :( 41. Taio Cruz feat Kylie Minogue & Travie McCoy - Higher (25) (CR-19-9-9-5-12-OUT-12-11-15-17-16-25-41) Nice to see you're still loving this too... Everytime I hear this it strikes me but never enough to make me wanna listen to it again. :P 48. Cee Lo Green - Bright Lights Bigger City (48) (CR-66-48-48) I was expecting another f*** You copy, but was pleasantly surprised. Excellent song. 56. Katy B - Broken Record (63) (CR-75-73-68-63-56) It's slowly climbing! Do you have a HQ MP3? Because i'm struggling to get into this because I only have a rubbish Radio rip. :( Even though it's quite clearly up there with KOAM and Perfect Stranger (which I loved...) 74. The Black Eyed Peas - Just Can't Get Enough (Re-entry) (CR-47-59-OUT-74) Favourite track by them in a LONG time. Or at least on par with Meet Me Halfway! I hope this does OK for you...
March 23, 201114 yr Author Thanks Dan! You need to get round to hearing the Blue song! Agreed about J.Lo  I don't have an HQ MP3 of Katy B either :( Maybe that's what's stopping it from going particularly high up my chart so far...

I do like it a lot, but the chorus could have been so much better. 44 - Yeah :( Poor Hungary. I really hope they make it out of the semi final though. 64 - Believe had a peaked of 51 in my chart, which is really rather shocking for a winner  . Such an undeserved victory, but at least they put on an amazing show the year after to make up for it!

It definitely does  It's definitely my least favourite demo on the album, if only because it pales SO much in comparison to the final version, whereas most of the others are just different styles rather than inferior versions. 10. Indeed, especially when I read the inlay that the enhanced CD 'works with Windows 95/98/2000' etc... I haven't seen CD singles with that blurb for years! 33. Agreed on all counts. 44. I have a feeling that they will, even if it's in a lowly qualifying position. 64. I agree, 2009 was probably the best staging ever, by FAR - and the quality of the final was amazing too, although I guess they had no say in that!
March 23, 201114 yr I see you're enjoying Blue's eurovision track a lot :P Can't say I'm a huge fan of Britney's album, kinda disappointing imo :( I find the Alex Gaudino/KRo track a bit overrated, dont think its that special. The Snoop/Guetta collab is surprisingly decent, thanks to the famous sample. Really enjoying Sun & Moon now :D Good chart!

It's our best entry in years and years, hope we get a good place with it ^_^ Shame, I thought you'd like it :o I think it's brilliant, far better than Circus. Yeah I know what you mean, but it's nice enough. I can't see it being that huge in my chart...
