Labrinth straight in at #2, Professor Green #3, Rizzle Kicks #11.

Really surprised Labrinth hasn't gone straight to #1 with all his pre-orders - Noel must still be selling loads!

Labrinth #1.

That's more like it - I wonder why he didn't enter straight at #1 though? You can't have many EPs/albums that went top 10 on pre-orders alone not going straight to #1.

New single EPs top 100:

1. Earthquake (feat. Tinie Tempah) - EP - Labrinth

3. Read All About It (feat. Emeli Sandé) - EP - Professor Green

11. When I Was a Youngster - EP - Rizzle Kicks

28. You Make Me Feel... (feat. Sabi) - EP - Cobra Starship

52. The Wave (Remixes) - Sneakbo

21 at #10 - I doubt it'll survive in the top 10 this time as both Coldplay and Kelly Clarkson will go straight in higher than that in just over one and a half hours. It obviously still has a lot of top 10 life in it but I think tonight will be the night it finally drops out for the first time. Top 10 for 39 weeks is no mean feat though

Noel back at #1, Lab down to #2.

haha Amazing! 39 weeks! Insane! As you say, still loads left in it for top 10 officially. Does anyone know the album which has spent the longest amount of time in the top 10 official chart?

Hold on, Coldplay have actually FALLEN on release. They're at #5 behind Noel, Labrinth, Pro Green and Bruno and only just ahead of Noel's second version. How strange.

WTF?! all there's pre orders don't count??? I don't get it.

The Pre Orders for Coldplay's album would count as orders BEFORE release date (itunes does last 48 hours, so they're already 'counted' if you like); as its been so high for so long, you have to add a large amount of sales. Maybe everyone who wants it already has it. Also, other websites are doing it a lot cheaper, and a lot of people will simply be buying a physical copy.

But still not to be number 1??? Don't get it, and something is wrong for sure.

I have Coldplay at one

Coldplay were still on pre-orders when they were at #5. Then they got removed from the feed and when they were added back in they went straight in at #1.

Adele down to #13.

Top 10 update:

1. Mylo Xyloto - Coldplay

2. Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds (Deluxe Version) - Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds

3. Stronger (Deluxe Version) - Kelly Clarkson

4. Doo-Wops & Hooligans - Bruno Mars

5. Earthquake (feat. Tinie Tempah) - EP - Labrinth

6. Read All About It (feat. Emeli Sandé) - EP - Professor Green

7. Christmas - Michael Bublé

8. Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds - Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds

9. The Ultimate Collection - Steps

10. + - Ed Sheeran

'21' will probably drop out of the official top 5 this week - Coldplay, Noel and Kelly will probably be the top 3 then I'd guess 4 & 5 will be Michael Bublé and Matt Cardle/Steps/Bruno Mars/Ed Sheeran. There's also a new album by The Soldiers which could challenge for top 5.

I hope Kelly Clarkson can make it to #2 this week. I definitely think she will outsell everything from last week's chart except possibly Noel so #2 or #3 is certain.

Coldplay albums:

1. Mylo Xyloto - Coldplay

24. X & Y - Coldplay

28. Parachutes - Coldplay

30. Viva la Vida or Death and All His Friends - Coldplay

34. A Rush of Blood to the Head - Coldplay

It can't be very common for a living act to have 5 studio albums concurrently in the iTunes albums top 40. The only other acts I remember doing it were The Beatles and Michael Jackson. :o
