Does anyone have a link to see the top 1000 albums? Thank you :)
Enter Shikari up to #2. Genuine contender for this week's #1.

Possibility... but it could do the same as The Maccabees and drop down to #4, by the end of the week.

01 Enter Shikari

02 Vaccines

03 Coldplay

04 Foster the People

05 Swedish House Mafia (single)

06 Kasabian

How awesome.

Great Top 6 right there! :D

Can't honestly see Enter Shikari holding on till the end of the week (would be amazing if they did!), so a Top 5 finish is good enough for me

Ooh, why are Coldplay suddenly back in the top 3? :o Professor Green is back up to #5 as his album has been reduced to £3.95 (I see this is becoming somewhat of a regular thing now). Coldplay's price is £5.99, I suppose that could also be a reduction? But I don't remember how much it was before.

Foster The People are in the midweek top 10 again (with over 75% digital sales), I really hope it can hold onto the top 10 this week but I get the feeling they'll put the price back up before the end of the week :(

Pre-orders in the top 200:

52. Hot Right Now (feat. Rita Ora) - EP - DJ Fresh

68. Rockstar (feat. Brian May) - EP - Dappy  I can't believe this collab is actually happening.

73. Born to Die - Lana Del Rey

85. Our Version of Events - Emeli Sandé

102. Amazing - EP - Matt Cardle

107. Bloodstained Heart - EP - Darren Hayes

109. Alone Again (feat. Jump Smokers) - Alyssa Reid

111. Born to Die (Deluxe Version) - Lana Del Rey

125. Get Out My Head - EP - Redlight

142. Twilight (Remixes) - EP - Cover Drive

Matt Cardle and Darren Hayes aren't names I was expecting to type there

Coldplay  #3 due to now being £5.99 not £7.99 :)

4 is #9 & 21 is #10

Coldplay now back at #1 :w00t: Perhaps a return to the official #1 is possible with how tight the sales are at the top of the chart?

1. Mylo Xyloto - Coldplay

2. What Did You Expect from The Vaccines? - The Vaccines

3. A Flash Flood of Colour (Deluxe Version) - Enter Shikari

4. At Your Inconvenience - Professor Green

5. Torches - Foster the People

6. Velociraptor! - Kasabian

7. Doo-Wops & Hooligans - Bruno Mars

8. Antidote (Remixes) [swedish House Mafia vs. Knife Party] - EP - Swedish House Mafia & Knife Party

9. 4 - Beyoncé

10. 21 - ADELE

Six of the top seven are there because of price discounts (and seven of the top nine, with the other two both being new releases) :drama: Adele still hanging on despite no price reduction though as ever.

66. Making Mirrors - Gotye

99. Kisses On the Bottom - Paul McCartney

116. Rockstar (feat. Brian May) - EP - Dappy

159. Ray Charles - EP - Chiddy Bang (possibly another hit for them? This is okay but not as good as 'Opposite Of Adults')

How many albums have gone to #1 on pre-orders? I remember Coldplay did back in 2008 but none since

I think Coldplay did it again with Mylo Xyloto? And I think Cheryl Cole's 3 Words might have done it.

I think One Direction did too, but not too sure

I think 'What Makes You Beautiful' got as high as #2 (before disappearing from the feed because it's a single, not an EP - the same should have happened to One Thing by now) but I don't remember the album ever being any higher than about #12.

Right... Lana selling 5 times more than CP, how close is that... :P

That post was obviously made several weeks ago  And they WERE very close to #1 that week, if Ed Sheeran hadn't been on Graham Norton they would have got it.

Lana still has both of the top 2 :o I'm sure most of the time when an album takes the top 2 the second version has fallen away by now... I suppose it's more due to the lack of competition than anything else though as Born To Die 'only' sold 50k digitally last week which is quite a lot lower than the one-week digital record (Coldplay's opening digital tally of 83k).

New entries:

2. Lonely Are the Brave - Maverick Sabre

16. Bones - Young Guns

33. Le voyage dans la lune - Air

39. A Different Kind of Truth - Van Halen

42. High Ceilings & Collarbones - Juan Zelada

49. A Different Kind of Truth (Deluxe Version) - Van Halen

61. Blues Funeral - Mark Lanegan Band

maverick sabre is number one
