There is no chance of Blur 21 getting top 40, the package is 145.00, that's if anyone has got that money to shed out.

Pretty impressive for Delilah to get a top 10 entry this week.

Agreed - one week in the low Top 75 and then probably out of the Top 200.

IIRC a mega expensive Beatles boxset got into the top 40 once, Blur could do it as well. Unlikely though.

What's with the Rick Ross album doing so well?

Beatles in Stereo (16 disc) reached #24 on release in October 2009, which is currently priced at £231 on HMV - that's probably the one you mean. SO expensive!

But it's not the most expensive, there's also:

Beatles in Mono (13 disc) reached #57 on release in October 2009, which is currently priced on HMV at £271!!

New Releases:

Conor Maynard: #01 on HMV

Delilah: #07 on HMV

Mike Oldfield: #06 on HMV

Rick Ross: #17 on HMV

I reckon that on Sunday's chart, Conor Maynard will be #1, Delilah will be #2, Plan B possibly #3, Rick Ross in the Top 5 and Mike Oldfield Top 10.

Isles of Wonder: Music For The Opening Ceremony is still strong at #1 on iTunes. Now 82 is #2, and Rick Ross #3. Conor Maynard #4 (#1 in midweeks) and Delilah is at #5!

Calvin & Example's EP is at #8 and Wiley's is at #11. Both going to have huge sales this week :o

Hopefully Blur can grab a place in the top 75 but im not expecting it to happen, with the times thats in it £145 is alot of money and a hell of a lot to spend on cd's.

New Releases:

038. Karmin - Hello EP

058. Antony & The Johnsons - Cut the World

095. Eugene McGuinness - The Invitation to the Voyage [bonus Track Version]

109. Honey Ryder - Marley's Chains

165. Nik Kershaw - Ei8ht

286. Rob Zombie - Mondo Sex Head [Deluxe Version]

862. Frankie Goes to Hollywood - Sex Mix

Out of Conor Maynard and Emeli Sande for number one then, probably under 10k. :(

I think it's Emeli vs. Maroon 5 (:manson:) for the #1 album this week with an outside chance of Plan B returning, but whoever gets it it'll be on similar sales to Emeli's last return to #1 if not lower. The only one of the week's new releases I can see even challenging the top 20 is Antony And The Johnsons' new album.
New Releases:

038. Karmin - Hello EP

I'm not sure how well that will perform, its only available on download format, plus its an EP, its not going to do a Frank Ocean.

Personally I can't see any new entries charting top 30 :o Maybe Antony & The Johnsons

New Releases:

 198. Nik Kershaw - Ei8ht

 479. Rob Zombie - Mondo Sex Head [Deluxe Version]

 929. Frankie Goes to Hollywood - Sex Mix

Conor Maynard is still the highest placed artist album at #8, with Emeli Sande one place behind.

New Releases:

 042. Karmin – Hello EP

 061. Antony & the Johnsons – Cut the World

 174. Honey Ryder – Marley’s Chains

 205. Eugene McGuiness – The Invitation to the Voyage [bonus Track Version]

 304. Nik Kershaw – Ei8ht

 508. Rob Zombie – Mondo Sex Head [Deluxe Version]

Emeli Sande is the highest placed artist album at #9, and Conor Maynard is down to #14.

Oh dear God, the entire top 8 is taken up by Various Artists compilations now :drama:

1. Now That's What I Call Music! 82 - Various Artists

196. Summer Paradise - EP - Simple Plan

'Bom Bom' is going to be massive sadly, can't see it opening on less than 100k now. Why couldn't Molly just be the big novelty dance hit of the year :(

'Language' released next week and it's doing better than 'How We Do (Party)' - I would actually DIE (in a good way) if Porter can somehow beat Rita to #1! Although I'm not actually sure Rita is going to hit #1 anyway, I have a feeling it's going to underperform and enter at like #4/5...

Hopefully 'Babel' will avoid the curse of second albums by indie acts (i.e. first album = takes ages to peak after a fairly poor start but sticks around in the chart forever and sells loads, second album = straight in at #1 with mega sales but out of the chart within months and barely sells half of the first album in total). Same for 'Coexist'. Although I wouldn't mind the mega first week sales, just want them to have some longevity!

It's actually crazy, I prefer when it's artists albums in the top 10! Emeli and Ben down there representing

I don't think this makes sense, did you mean "isn't going to be massive" or "can see it opening"?

Read it again cause it makes sense ^_^

"Is going to be massive" and "can't see it opening on less than 100k" fit together. :)

Your right, it does. :D I read it a few times but couldn't quite get my head around it.
