(I still find it unbelievable that Heidi, who was with the 'Babes on their highpoint, would even be OK with the songs they release now. Obviously she wasn't the driving force behind 2.0).

That's what breaks my heart. How can she just stand by and watch this happen.

 

I think we all knew that Keisha and Mutya were the real creative forces behind the Babes. It became evident in the edge that disappeared with Mutya then the everything that disappeared with Keisha.

I forgot Wait For You :o In that case, maybe switch She's A Mess with it. And I didn't know C&B was recorded post-Keisha :o Take that out too then!

 

And I too am baffled that Heidi lets the brand name be tainted like this, I agree it seems Keisha/Mutya were the driving forces. I was thinking about that the other day actually, how they lost the edge/uniqueness with Mutya and then lost the quality with Keisha. I mean Sweet 7 wasn't bad at all, and neither is Freedom, they're just distinctly unSugababes - they just seem faceless :( Sweet 7 is like an album I'd expect from Pussycat Dolls or Danity Kane - it's good but it doesn't have the 'edge' or 'uniqueness' that we had previously from the girls.

I think they've missed their last chance for a playlisting with this, and if that's so then it's definitely curtains for them now.

 

At this rate I can even see the album getting cancelled.

I'd say next week is their last chance at getting playlisted, but as everybody else has said, if not, it's doomed.

Honnestly most of their lead singles have been very good.

Push The Button > Easy > Overload > About You Now > Hole In The Head > Freak Like Me > Girls > Freedom > Get Sexy

 

 

I also think Freedom is better than Get Sexy, which was a bad lead single. As I said a few posts up, I geniunely think that if it was AAG in place of GS it would've beat Run This Town.

Get Sexy have always been so underrated...
