I like "Shot You Down", great remixing from the Audio Bullys and bringing Nancy Sinatra back into the charts, although I and many people weren't around when she was first in the charts lol.

Why would you have to be around at the time to appreciate the song or who sung it lol

Rihanna - 'Pon De Replay'

Was a good song at the time, but it just sounds inferier now compared to the rest of her stuff and pretty much everything else on this list. Had no idea it even sold enough to be on this list.

Thought Amerie was a contender to go far, very suprised it's heading for an early exit. Definatly one of my favourites on this list, fantastic record.

Pon de Replay is an amazing song, although not one of her best, it is still one of the best from that year

I really like Audio Bullys too. Yeah, it's opportunistic, brainless, and most of all repetitive, but frankly when the bit being repeated sounds great I don't care about that

Although I think Summer 2005 was almost entirely great for chart music (with a few duffs) though I was also having a great time personally then, too, so maybe that's why I enjoyed it so much :D Now 61 (which covers that period) is probably my favourite post-2001 Now album.

Anyway, I expected Audio Bullys to go earlier than this, so I was quite happy to see them still here, but they probably will go after Amerie now :( Which would make two of my top 10 out in a row. And I like the MVP song, too, to be honest - I think it was one of those songs my sister made me like by playing it too much. So yeah, I'm not happy with the way this game is going right now. There are still some excellent tracks left but I can see them falling before we get to the inevitable Hung Up vs Push The Button vs Since U Been Gone final 3 - of which I only like Sugababes to be honest. I'm struggling to see anything breaking that trio... maybe Don't Cha? The list is still so un-BuzzJack to be honest

I don't know if it's asking too much of Buzzjack but I hope 'Gold Digger' does RELATIVELY well in this, as it's my favourite of the year.

Based on what I've seen, although I'm rather new to Buzzjack, I'd say that Gorillaz, 2pac and Kanye should do well, all 4 are excellent songs anyway. Stickwitu and Pon De Replay could also make the top 10, but Stickwitu is probably going to go before Don't Cha.

The others, I can't call at all. This looks a rather unpredictable year, a lot of acts that seem to be un-Buzzjack have good songs, and a lot of pro-Buzzjack artists have rather weak songs.

Not sure how Stickwitu will do. Other RnB-esque ballads like If I Were a Boy, Put Your Records On, We Belong Together, Take a Bow, Irreplaceable, Unfaithful, (Bleeding Love, if that counts as RnB), etc. haven't done too well, so Stickwitu will probably continue that trend.

Actually Stickwitu is the third song in my waiting list.

The first is 1 thing which I'm voting off right now

The second is Daniel Powter, and I don't think I'll vote against him for long

And the third is 'Stickwitu'!

I hoped 'Shot You Down' would get top-20 at least! :(

So far, this year is going really well. Only 2 songs i like are out (Tripping and Is This the Way to Amarillo).

Next target: Get Right. JLo i love you, but wtf were you thinking by releasing this ANNOYING, terrible, piece of $h!t?? Huge disappointment back in those days.

Daniel Powter really is a shockingly terrible, bland, MOR load of old slush..... but I voted, again, for the phenomenally awful Black Eyed Peas - truly hilariously terrible.

As for the final 3 being an inevitable Sugababes / Madonna / Kelly Clarkson..... are we at Buzzjack REALLY so musically retarded as to consider Kelly Clarkson worthy of....anything? Especially the vapid, dumb nonsense that is Since You Been Gone. Overwhelmingly vile.

'Since U Been Gone' is a great song and it is Kelly C at her best. If she only ever had number one, it should have been this as its much better than MLWSWY. I love 'Hung Up' and 'Push the Button', so that would make a great top 3 even if its very Buzzjack
Hung Up, Push a Button and Since U Been Gone are a fine top 3. Out of those I'd want Kelly Clarkson to win, because I'm a bit bored of the other two now (Sorry was much, much better for Madonna).
For me Hung Up is at least 20x better than Sorry, they are both good but Hung Up has a better beat and great sampling, and I LOVE the video to Hung Up
I wouldn't mind any of this list winning now. (Bar Madonna 'Hung Up') I loved 2005
