July 26, 201113 yr Oh it absolutely is the best ballad on the album (I don't count What Is Love? as a ballad) but it shouldn't be a single just yet. Why? WIL? IS a ballad, moreso than SO. Papi should be next :( SO would be a poor choice, but it could be a shock hit, what with Jen's personal life ATM and the lyrical content of the song.
July 26, 201113 yr I would probably choose SO (or the superior WIL?) after Papi or Hypnotico, both obvious hits. Though I guess a ballad can still be a moderate hit as the 3rd single, whereas it wouldn't as the 4th, but Papi or Hypnotico (the former especially) are obvious hits, and will still smash as 4th singles. So it kind of makes sense, similair to Lady Gaga releasing You & I now and (hopefully) leaving the obvious hits til later, so she can milk as many hits as possible. Edited July 26, 201113 yr by Liаm
July 26, 201113 yr She should do "Papi" for summer, "Starting Over" for late August/September. I mean, she'll be guaranteed spots on the US and UK X Factor.
July 26, 201113 yr 'Starting Over', if it's true... then WOW  I do love it and am hoping for a 'Right There' sort of surprise hit. But right now, I honestly can't help but think it will flop :( Maybe she's thinking 'Papi' and 'Hypnotico' will smash whenever they're released, so she's deciding on a ballad now. Ah well. Can't wait for the video. I reckon it'll be a big airplay hit over here though. Particularly on Heart and Capital. Whether that translates into sales though is a completely different situation in itself
August 9, 201113 yr I watched her film with George Clooney, Out of Sight, on the TV the other day and it sort of renewed my mild love for the woman. ^_^
August 10, 201113 yr In an interview with Vanity Fair she mentions that shee’ll be going back to the studio soon to record some extra tracks for her Greatest-hits and that it will be relesed sometime in 2012 :D Seems the second Spanish album will come later then. She looked HAWT in the shoot for it too: http://lovelylopez.net/photos/albums/userpics/10001/005~10.jpg
August 10, 201113 yr Love? - 2,318,542 On The Floor - 7,991,060 I'm Into You - 3,008,934 Good Hit - 548,309 Papi - 42

August 10, 201113 yr Thank you. How do the worlwide sales of Love? compare to those of her previous albums?
August 11, 201113 yr Love? - 2,318,542 On The Floor - 7,991,060 I'm Into You - 3,008,934 Good Hit - 548,309 Papi - 42 As if  Love has yet to go Gold in the US, no way has it sold that much. Same with OTF and IIY In other news, Jenny if confirmed to be returning to AI :D
August 11, 201113 yr Author Doubt Papi will do anything....unless it's performed on the X-Factor :D Why not? Its got smash written all over it. Europe will lap it up. Top 20 in the UK with ease.
August 11, 201113 yr I don't think anything she releases would be exactly massive in the UK, Papi would be top 20 easily though, and would smash in Europe.
August 11, 201113 yr 'I'm Into You' is to #41 on the Billboard Hot 100. I like 'Papi' for the first 20 seconds, then it turns incredibly generic. Not the good sort of generic, more the dull kind.
August 12, 201113 yr Love? is on 800K WW (89K in the UK and about 240K in the US) On The Floor has 2.700.000 downloads in the US (705K in the UK) I'm Into You has 300.000 downloads in the US OTF is the biggest hit of the first 6 months this year in Europe with 1.41 million singles sold. OTF is the most viewed video of the year on youtube with 340 million views IIY has 60 million views on youtube As for Papi - a few remixes have been ordered and the track was sent to some radios in Europe but nothing else.
