Im still thinking about that...........there must be something cool we can do?!

Yeah there must.

Jake was saying that the lounge lacks classic threads but I don't quite know what to class as a classic thread. I think the politics forum kinda takes quite a lot away from the lounge IMO as thats where the main discussion comes from and the lounge doesn't really have any discussion at all. :(

Yes, the perspective forum's threads are indepth and those are the threads I like.

We need threads like the E-Bay Trash Thread (yes, I borrowed the idea from another site) and the like. Im not sure what classic threads are being referred to from CC, they werent all that!

Yeah I like threads when people have arguments as sick as it may seem. :( But I mean when they argue in a good way and it doesn't get personal if y'know what I mean.

Yes we do need threads. I think EVERYONE really needs to have a think about the lounge as i've noticed a lot of people avoid it now and the lounge is the most active part of Buzzjack and this problem needs to be adressed.

Perhaps we need to start an ideas thread in the Staff Lounge?

Yeah I think that would be a good idea.

I know there was one of those a couple of months ago but I don't know exactly what happened to it.

Well, we kind of used the ideas!

Paul had some mint ideas last week, but they wernt actioned....perhaps we need to make sure the Mods know how people are feeling about the Lounge and that action is needed this time by all....

Oh yes Paul's ideas were brilliant. :D I was luckily enough the first person to be told the ideas by him and I said I liked all of the ideas. I think it might be an idea for the lounge mods to create a topic sp people can tell the truth about what they think about the present state of the lounge and what the general members would like to see improved about the lounge and what features they'd maybe like to see.

Now THAT is a great idea! ^_^

Should we ask the lounge moderators or just generally bring it up in the staff small talk or what?.

Maybe we should ask Paul, Nicky and David....do you want to do it or shall I?

Although maybe we wont get a swift responce by PM, so perhaps a seperate Staff Room topic would be better.....

Hmm yes. PM'ing wouldn't give a quick reply I don't think as you can never gurantee that they'll PM you straight back away.

I think you should say it / do it. You'll know how to word it better and everything as I sometimes don't know how to word everything correctly. :( Do you think you should make a sepearte topic or should you just bring it up in the small talk.

Let us converse by MSN........

I was stood near all the resident hooligans (sp?). :(

Try sitting amongst 20,000+ frustrated Sunderland fans

I couldn't believe some of the language being hurled towards the ref and Kelvin Davis (Ex-Sunderland keeper)... and there were loads of little kids among the crowd as well! Still, that's what happens when the ref stops the game from flowing -_-

You know how passionate we North East types are about our football... so you can imagine how annoyed everyone was getting when the ref was giving away free kicks for simple clips or dives, and then letting the Southampton players take away our legs and play on :arrr:

Mr Friend?!?!

He was anything BUT!

Yeah we generally feel the same way about the refs as well. :(

There are normally lots of chants aimed at the refs infact when something goes against us.

At one stage, practically the entire home support were chanting 'You don't know what you're doing!' at the ref after he'd made his 462nd bad decision
