Nah I mean its been well documented that The Lounge is going through a rough period at the moment though, I mean its just most members seem to be abandoing it for other reasons and as of late the only real threads that have generated some build in The Lounge have been the popularity contests.

 

Its easy to off topic in threads but its just a shame that the actual off topic forum doesn't have much about it at the moment. :( Mind you though i'd doubt i'd post much either if it was very active as I don't feel I fit in that well at the moment.

Well its going through a rough patch at the moment. There have been times when its been very active and everything but now its mainly filled up with a few games threads and some odd c**p threads by Callum that I can't take seriousley because I still don't belive he's real.

 

Minus the BuzzJack awards (well which I don't even know whether there going ahead to be honest still...I imagine they are though) I don't think there will be another popularity contest for a while. Probably not one of such for a good three or four months I reckon.

Why doesn't Callum seem real? He seems alright to me, and he has about 5 pictures of himself in the Gallery. If it is someone taking the p***, they're making an awful lot of effort over nothing :lol:

Well before you arrived here there was a guy named Lyle who was just about the same as posting style as Callum. Some of his story just doesn't add up, and until he proves that he's real, I ain't gonna belive he's real.

 

His threads generally are c**p. Invlove questions and it rarely generates any discussion at all.

Yeah, I noticed his threads tend to do a "McFly" - they get a good bit of attention at first, and then start plummeting further and further down into the Lounge's bowels

Yup thats exactly what the do. I have some ideas though for big threads but there only rough ideads at the time.

Well I think the main reason is to highlight effort and potential by certain moderators.

 

I mean like there are some OF moderators that put a LOT of effort into their respective forums and there aren't really and MF mod positions avaliable though so there rewarding them via this new system. I'm not totally clear though but I think thats the meaning... :unsure:
