Have I missed something with the whole Ryan issue? :unsure:

 

Phil made a thread telling us all (obscurely) about the new Staff scheme he's put into place, and Ryan made it publicly known that he disagreed with the whole idea. Phil then said "A lot of thought has been put into this", resulting in Ryan replying with :rofl: :rofl: :rofl: :rofl:. Phil asked what was funny and Ryan continued to wind him up, and they've been exchanging PMs ever since...

 

I think it's sorted out now though, and thankfully Ryan is still a member :)

Still, despite all their protesting, I really don't think Phil will change his mind somehow... he seems to be convinced that the changes are for the benefit of the site :unsure:

I definitley don't think Phil will go back on this idea. Its a lot better now, and I think its well structured now and I think although some people may not see it this whole thing is a good thing for the site and everything.

I don't think it will backfire. Sure some mods are disappointed, and I know I would be as people will see it asthey've kinda being de-graded but its not. The only difference is they don't see The Sfatt Lounge really. The SL is now gonna be a lot less spammy and a lot of the random c**p will be cut out and will probably be introdcued into the Mods Lounge now.

People's main argument is that they're now unable to see the important topics in the staff lounge, such as nuisance members etc etc, which I suppose is a fair point, and I know I would be annoyed if I was stripped of that privelage :(

But its not really hard to work out nusiance members and the old Staff Lounge had over over 30 people viewing it and I know myself I was unsure about whether to speak out on certain issues and certain members because there were lots of eyes in there and you could never be sure as to whether what you said would get spread.
