Well the video is meant to create controversy and because it's Easter week, now is the perfect time to release it. They've also learnt from past mistakes (BTW could have got number one in UK if the video was released earlier, of course US still charted it at number 1 without video). Maybe they've also learnt from Britney Spears 'HIAM' mistakes too

 

But had Judas not been leaked the video would have been released on the same day as the song. That never happens. :o

Eric, the Gaga against Rihanna 'campaign' is non exsistent... :mellow: Judas wasn't released just because S&M was close to giving Rihanna a 10th US no.1. As a loon of both artists, I can safely say Gaga and her record company won't give two $h!ts if RiRi does get another number 1 as Judas will do well anyway... Sheesh, calm down - both will probs be Hot 100 no.1s at some point anyway! It's useless trying to hate/troll over Gaga, she has too many loons/fans here (me included!)

^ I think S&M stands no chance if it doesn't get it this week, as surely Judas will be at the top for a while.

 

The only way I can see S&M being in contention for #1 again is if Gaga sells SO much in her first couple of weeks that there's nobody left to buy it afterward, or if there's a really high profile music video for the Brtiney remix.

Tbh, if she got #1 here or on BB officially, that would be some feat. She would deserve it imo.

Wow! Is she!?! :o That's exciting, although I don't think Beyonce will shoot immediately to #1 no matter what like Gaga does (at least not in the UK).

 

Beyonce is also going to be on Dr. Dre's album, and I imagine that might chart top 40 on cherry-picking (since Jay-Z is on the same song).

Just got to hear 'Judas' and oh my. Is it the worst trash song ever recorded or what? There is no melody or anything, just lots of noise. 'Born this way' is GOLD next to it.

Wow, wasn't expecting beyonce to release that soon, have any of the tracks leaked yet or is she going to do a gaga and hold massive premieres for songs?

A small section of her next single 'Girls' has leaked, but it just sounds really blurred and messy because of its low quality. I may be wrong about her releasing it late April, but thats what Twitter rumours seem to be suggesting.

 

Also listend to Judas for perhaps the 50th time, and i can safely say that it is definately one of my fav!!!!!!!

A snippet of her first single (which is currently without a title) leaked, as well as a snippet of another song on her album called 'Never Let You Go'. but everything is being kept quiet at the moment. She should hopefully be releasing a press release next week.

That was a ballad, are you really going to compare that to a "club banger" that has created incredible amounts of hype? And the song currently doesn't have a title, there are rumours flying about everywhere, regarding the title.
