Will it be top 10 the next time iTunes updates? IDK how big the gap is.

 

EDIT: It's not that big at all, so Judas will probably be top 10 at the next update. Which means Kanye has been knocked back AGAIN! He'll probably overtake Nicole not long after GaGa goes top 10 as well :(

So because you've not heard about it, there's no hype? It's been everywhere on the Internet and everyone has been really hyped up after hearing the leak. Not only is it nothing like what's out in the charts right now, but the video is also set to be incredible. It's not my fault if you don't do your research before posting. :coffee:

Sometimes record companies deliberately leak songs (sometimes an earlier version, or just part of the song), to see what the public reaction is to it and to build up hype, so that could be what's happening with Beyonce. If everybody hates the song they'll know before they release it, so they can choose another song to lead with instead. Or they could be genuine leaks of course. :lol:

Yes, the hype for it is massive. There are rumours now that it is called 'Who Run The World? (Girls)', and by the reviews of it and the snippet, it sounds NOTHING like 'Only Girl'. It has massive tribal and African influences.

Wretch 32 is the only big release next week. Pitbull/Ne-Yo/Afrojack/Nayer (top 10 on US iTunes) could make a small impression as well.

 

The week after there's Nero - Guilt but I have a feeling it won't do very well :(

 

Then Blue and Example release the following week.

That's because we keep to the Destiny's Child forum, but as you can tell from the posters agreeing with me, lots of people know all about it. It's all over Billboard, ThatGrapeJuice, UKMix, Twitter etc.etc. Once again, just because you haven't heard anything doesn't mean that there isn't loads of hype.

That might be because discussion about it is limited to the Destiny's Child forum. It has HUGE Twitter/Tumblr hype.

I don't know when it's released but examples new song is very good, this coming from a person who has not liked any of examples previous songs

I doubt Beyoncé will have the same star power as GaGa in terms of shooting straight to #1. Didn't IIWAB only barely get #1 here? And that was on its third week and only because of an XF performance. Not sure her new one will even challenge for the UK #1 but I guess we'll see.

The hype is everywhere on the Internet, and I'm sorry if we have the decency to keep our looning in the correct thread, as opposed to splashing it all over Buzzjack.

No it didn't, it climbed to #1 on it's third week.

Just listened to Pon de Floor again on youtube, massive debates about Beyonce on all the videos. :lol:

Oh, the XF performance must have been what caused it to re-climb to #3 a few weeks later then.

 

Still, I recall it only barely getting to #1 and with fairly low sales as it was a low competition week.

Yeah, the top 3 that week was:

1 Beyoncé 47,949

2 XFF 45,760

3 The Killers 42,832

 

Beyoncé just overtook XFF and T.I. who was #2 the previous week, her sales dropped by 10k. And I think The Killers were the download #1 that week as well? :(

Finally sanity in here Theo! :D I remember it was no.1 in November and she performed on the XF final in December. It hit the top cos it was an amazing song, not just cos of XF. It did only just top the chart though iirc.
