I think most songs that get very popular chart on the other charts. Bad Romance charted in the Latin chart too, for example, as did Love the Way You Lie, and OMG, amongst others.

I've seen quite a few songs actually on the Latin chart and just thought 'wtf' as none of them were remotely Latin. I suppose if the song is REALLY popular, then the stations will play it for a break from Shakira
The Voice should just bugger off the iTunes, same applies with American Idol and Glee Cast songs (as much as I like Glee and their songs..)
Gutted that How To Love STILL isn't top 10 officially, especially since it's held off by the still-lingering The Show Goes On, which is currently at a lowly #22 on iTunes. :(

Britney make a slow climb, up to #35.
Moves Like Jagger at #1, hopefully will secure a top 5 debut on next week's Hot 100. I'd say #1, but I'm hoping for Katy's 5th #1.

Just been informed by someone at A&M/Octone Records "Moves Like Jagger" has been added to radio and is starting to get played.

I wonder if it can stay at #1? I'm not sure.

It's such a summery song and very catchy.

 Who'd have ever thought Maroon 5 or Christina Aguilera would be relevant enough for a US top 5/10 ever again!
:puke: I thought the days of Maroon 5 and Floptina were gone. Clearly I was wrong. It won't do a thing in the UK hopefully, I'll be disapointed if this stops Katy from getting a deserved 5th number one (I'm not a big fan of Katy's song - but I'd love to see her break the record)
Katy won't get held off by a song with NO airplay yet, if anything it'll be GME or PRA. Hopefully she wont stall at #2, though, that'd be heartbreaking. :(

Or RITD...

With The X Factor being massive I think The Voice will only have Must Be The Music type success in the UK

I don't see this being exactly the case. The Voice was getting very good ratings in the US whilst American Idol was still on. They're both singing shows obviously, but I think the formats are different enough for them both to do well for now.

It is NOT a performance song! It's an official single by Maroon 5 featuring Christina Aguilera. It has the tag "The Voice performance" because M5 performed it on the show last night.

Was there a reason you quoted my post? I never said that it was a performance song!

Or RITD...

Could be, but RITD is finally declining on downloads. It maybe has 1 week left at the top if anything.

Have you heard the song :P? It deserves to be there! It's so catchy.

My apologies, I thought you were referring to it as a performance song

No  I was expecting it to be dull and MOR like Maroon 5 usually are though! Will give it a listen in a bit, suppose I'll see what the fuss is about :D

Katy Perry wont get to number one, Lmfao have this in the bag.

:yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo: That would be better - I'll be sad if LMFAO don't get at least a week at the top, even if it means Katy doesn't break a record for most number one singles from an album (female solo artist) ADELE has had her time

Yes, it has one week left in it, which is why I mentioned it :P I think it's a battle of Adele vs. Pitbull this week with LMFAO as an outside contender, Katy probably still #4 and Maroon 5 maybe #5 if they keep up the high sales lead.
