Last Friday Night might not go number one on Billboard Hot 100 without a remix.

 

I think it is getting remixes (if it hasn't already). Infact, I think all the #1s this year so far have had remixes. I think there's even one of Rolling in the Deep (or there was on UK iTunes anyway).

I think SKOB means an added artist remix (like Kanye was on ET) :P

That's just because it was released earlier in the USA. RITD also first charted in 2010 in the USA.

Yeah, there are 9 in the top 40 at the moment (Honey Bee, Dirt Road Anthem, Remind Me, Knee Deep, Country Girl (Shake It For Me), If I Die Young, Barefoot Blue Jean Night, Mean and You And Tequila). :drama:

The only good ones out of those country songs are If I Die Young (:wub:) and Mean! While we're on the subject, :o @ IIDY still being there, it's having INCREDIBLE longevitity! It did have an Idol boost when Lauren sang it, granted, but that has obviously worn off, yet it's still holding strong a year after release (it did go top 40 on release week on iTunes iirc, I think it slipped then climbed back a few months on though) despite only peaking at 19!

It's charting now mainly thanks to the increasing pop airplay. It's a true cross-over success: it has sold over 2 million copies and been huge despite peaking at No. 19 on Hot 100.

What number is it? As much as I love Pixie (and the song) it's still one of the weakest on the album :(

We Own The Night is deffo the weakest on the album - still a 7/10 though! My faves are Who Says, Love You Like A Love Song, Outlaw and Whiplash!

I'm now thinking LMFAO will probably be #1 on the BBH100 this week. I hope I'm wrong though. (Either way they'll have #1 on the good chart so what can you do :P)
