^ Yeah. Although I imagine Lil Wayne and Paramore will begin to drop significantly soon.

Not sure about Lil Wayne, he's showing longevity with this one. It may go official top 10 soon.

Because it's summer and people like to party in the USA :)

It could've been used on America's Got Talent or So You Think You Can Dance.

I think someone sang Miley on AGT on Tuesday night, but I think they did 'The Climb', not PITU.

I never really checked, but I would've imagined Party in the USA being one of those songs that were a top 300 staple anyway. It was so big in the US, and it's not really that old yet.
Beyonce's second single at #97 :( It's actually good this one, where has it peaked so far?

9. Dirt Road Anthem - Jason Aldean

10. Dirt Road Anthem (Remix) [feat. Ludacris] - Jason Aldean

:drama: :drama: :drama:

(3 of the top 10 contain the word 'Anthem' now. Weird.)

Gosh. Could Dirt Road Anthem be a future #1? If it's got 2 versions in the top 10...

I seriously hope not. :puke: Both versions would need to be quite a bit higher for it to even beat Adele on sales and that's not even considering airplay.

Anyway, I can't envision how Jason Aldean & Ludacris together on one song would even work

I know. It's a strange combination. Although the fans of their music combined probably covers like 90% of the population. Good move on their part, I guess.

It doesn't :puke: I just had a listen because I love his song with Kelly Clarkson and it's AWFUL! I also concluded (from further listening to similair songs) whoever thought up the genre country rap should be shot :puke: And I highly doubt it'll get number 1, seeing as Don't You Wanna Stay () was a HUGE airplay hit and missed top 10, plus country songs (though they always do well in the US) never got no.1 on the Hot 100.

Yeah, even Need You Now didn't get #1, so if that couldn't, I don't really know what can!

From the pop bars though, it does look like it's #1 on sales if you combine it.

#1 on iTunes - there are other download sites. And I suppose there's also physicals but they have completely negligible impact on sales.

But I think even if it does overtake Adele to #1 on the sales chart it won't get there on the BBH100 due to airplay.

And to avoid any hypocrisy here, yes I will be annoyed if DRA doesn't get BBH100 #1 if it is #1 on Hot Digital Songs, despite the fact I don't like Jason Aldean at all and would much prefer Adele to stay #1 over him.

I'll be really annoyed if it's Jason who knocks Adele off :( Firstly, when amazing country songs like If I Die Young, all Carrie Underwood singles (:P), Love Story, Jason's own Don't You Wanna Stay and Need You Now miss the top the vile DRA should fail! He's just done the sell-out option and tagged a rent-a-rapper on! Maybe Lady Antebellum should've threw Eminem on Need You Now :kink:

I haven't even listened to Dirt Road Anthem yet. I'll have to soon, but it's funny with these country songs in the US, because I can just tell by the name of the artist that I probably won't like the song, and that it's probably a country song. I think I should be a bit more open-minded really, but after like 20 times you do start to not bother anymore.

Ugh. Lady Antebellum and Eminem collab. That is honestly the most puke-worthy collab ever. My mouth is slowly filling with vomit. Yuck. Ewwww. I'm so glad that didn't happen. :puke:

I don't think this Dirt Road Anthem thing will get #1 anyway. I honestly think it'll be Adele for a few more weeks, and then Pitbull after that. Then maybe Lady Gaga when she gets her music video out and the airplay increases.

Lady Gaga might have a chance, afterall her music videos always have some kind of impact on the sales and it's airplay has increased rapidly in the US already.

I released why Miley's climbing so fast she's $0.69 on iTunes. The Single's already sold over 4,530,000. Who would have thought in the Us alone Miley has sold over 13million singles in America.

Honestly, I think it works well...

I really enjoy the chorus, too. The rap is an interesting twist to what may have been an otherwise boring song.
