three of the best number 2s ever there imo- all would get +15 in another year

the rest are significantly below the trio, but I still like them:

+8 Peter Andre “Mysterious Girl” :kink:

+6 Los Del Rio “Macarena” :kink: :kink:

+5 Kula Shaker “Hey Dude”

+4 Toni Braxton “Unbreak My Heart” overly sentimental and overrated, but just about OK

+3 Robbie Williams “Freedom”not great, but decent- definitely one of his weakest ever

+2 Fugees “No Woman No Cry”

+1 George Michael “Spinning the Wheel” this gets default points- as its the only one I haven't heard

-2 Warren G feat. Adina Howard “What’s Love Got to Do With It”

again a very good year for number 2s :D

It will be very difficult for A Design for Life to compete with Born Slippy or Children - third is the best it can hope for. :(

Plus there's a strong chance Slight Return will beat it too. Just have to settle for wild card position.

I don't think 'Slight Return' will be a threat to be honest. I certainly hope it qualifies in the top 4 but I can't see it troubling the top 3 as it won't be well known enough. I've noticed a lot of younger members haven't voted and I'm guessing that's because they don't know what it is?

Well, I don't know what it is, which probably doesn't come as a shock :P

I didn't know Slight Return until I bought Now 34 a few years ago :D

It doesn't get much airplay at all these days except on 90s/indie stations, so it's not a surprise that younger people wouldn't know it :( Shame, The Bluetones are totally forgotten by the general public as well these days, even though they were quite big for a short period back then...

I could vote tactically but there's no point as it's just an internet rate - not a matter of life or death.

The Bluetones are totally forgotten by the general public as well these days, even though they were quite big for a short period back then...

Surprisingly they only split about a fortnight ago and were active from around 1994 until 2011.
