Mercedes was previously a favourite of mine, she's been neglected though and isnt really much of a relevant character, which is a shame because when given good scenes she delivers and Amber can usually be reliable in performances. I wouldnt consider one of the top 5 of the show though.

Adore Holly Holiday, she was absouletly epic, especially in her first episode. I agree though, the storylines been wrapped up and theres no reason to bring her back for the time being. I've gone off Emma this season, she's been absent for episodes on end and has been rather annoying at times.

I didn't realize I'd gave Mercedes my 11, I do LOVE her and she would still be in my top 5, but I agree that she isn't that relevant anymore. She should be a main character!

 

Anyways I'm hoping for a Santana or Brittany win!

Emma and Mercedes were my two faves in season 2 - but now Mercedes would be top 5 and Emma like 9th. Both haven't been used well this series, they can give so much more than they get the chance to!

A shock top 5 entry for Lauren Zizes who has been a recurring character since the middle of Series 1 but joined the Glee club in Series 2 as Kurt's replacement. Lauren first appeared as a member of the 'Old Maid's club' in which Sue sends Rachel to. She made another replacement in 'Theatricactly' as a Twilight fan, but she joined Glee club in 'Special Education' and has become a fan favourite.

Lauren, at first, appears to dislike Glee saying she thinks 'show choir sucks' and only joins if she can have 7 minutes in heaven with Puck which is revealed to be a total letdown- she appears to growing to love the club though.

Her relationship, or lack thereof, with Puck is funny and the fact that Puck is getting used and abused by a girl like Lauren with whom he is 'smitten' is brilliant. I also like her fiesty side which was shown when she called Santana 'a bitch' and in Born this Way

when she exposed Quinn's former fat side.

 

It's been revealed that Lauren is staying with Glee and the actress Ashley is joining the cast for the tour, so it looks like she is going to become a sort of regular character in Series 3 (alongside Mike, Sam and possibly Blaine).

Sorry Gary but I had to spoiler some of it as there are people watching at UK Pace, so won't see it for another week and a half or so. (It's a pretty big spoiler too :lol:)

 

I do love Zizes. She's incredibly funny and I love how she just OWNS anyone and anything!

Argueably the leading lady of Glee, Ms Rachel Berry just misses out on a top 3 placing.

Rachel is the self centred diva of New Directions but you can't help but feel a touch sorry for her time and generally love her. There are times when she is my favourite Glee character, but there are times when I am fuming at her! But she's generally a nice girl with two passions in life- Fame and Finn Hudson. And you can't blame her for the latter, dude is fit.

Rachel is generally a lone ranger, but has been seen to have developed good friendships with both Kurt and Mercedes, and in recent episodes has even grown closer to enemy Quinn Fabray. But it's with Mr Finn Hudson where her heart lies.

The pair first began dating after it was revealed that Finn wasn't the baby father of Quinn's child, but it didn't last long when Finn suggested they take a break from each other. But after changing his mind, Rachel has already moved on- with the hunky Jesse st James. But of course, he was a first called wanker and the realtionship ends on a sour note. The pair are dating in Series 2 but it ends when a series of revelations about the pair of them are revealed- Finn lied about not having sex with Santana and in revenge Rachel snogged former love interest Puck. Whilst Finn has got back with ex girlfriend Quinn, Rachel is determined that Finn still loves her and will do anything to get his love back.. But will it happen or

with the return of Jesse in the final 3 episodes, will Rachel fall for him again?

Rachel has a fantastic voice, and it's not surprising- Lea Michele has been on-off Broadway for years. He starred in Les Misrablés alongside Jonathon Groff who portrays Jesse and has won praise for portraying 'an annoying but dedicated Glee club member' and Lea has been nominated for several Emmy and Golden Globe awards for her portrayal.

Rachel deserved higher. Especially higher than Sue "seen it all before" Syvlester! :( I get why people may find her annoying and stuff, but that's what makes Rachel the perfect character she is. She has everything. Her voice in particular. I'm actually a tad disappointed that she hasn't finished top 3, although it was to be expected :drama: That picture you used though Gary... WOW! :o

 

Also, the best thing about Rachel/Lea is her genuine laugh. When she laughs on the show, you can see it's an actual genuine laugh! :wub: I love it.

Rachel, love her or hate her, has an unbelievable voice. Santana to win now, Sue needs to be taken down and Brittany would be a tad predictable.

Rachel!!! My nu-fave and I did expect her a little lower, happy she's 4th but top 2 would've been ideal! Also glad to see Lauren top 5 - her no fear attitude is brilliant! I hope the top 3 goes Santana 'QoL' Lopez 1st, Brittany 'lolz' S. Pierce 2nd and Sue 'I used to be funny but now I'm overrated' Sylvester 3rd. I think I gave Sue 9, but she'd get a bit lower now - I do still like her but compared to Season 1, where she was hilare every ep she popped up in, she's not made me laugh much (only like 6/7 times across all the episodes this season).

YESSS!!! I feel she actually deserved a bit lower (for reasons stated above). Earlier in the series, I still loved her so I gave her 9 (I think) but she's gone down a bit so if the rate was now I'd probably give her 7 as Theo did (maybe 8 at a push). SANTANA FTW! :wub:

Amazing Top 3! Sue has got slightly more boring recently I guess, whereas Brittany has remained superb and Santana improves with every episode - so this is in the right order! Either of the top two can win and I'll be happy.

I miss that Sue! :( (The one in the YT video). But it looks likely that Sue is BACK in the next episode ('Rumours'). But she's got quite boring and monotonous as a character. The only time I felt for her this series is when she joined Glee club and she and Will went to the children's hospital.

Sue has become tiresome, she use to be an asset to the show but is frankly more of a burden who's storylines are just getting more and more run of the mill and samey. Still some great lines of course at times but on the whole definatly not worthy of winning, so I'm glad to see her finish fourth.

A part of me wasnt expecting Rachel to do this well, but again, I'm pleased. Most of her charm is how much of a love/hate character she can be, I partically like when she's an egotistical monster. I can identify with that.

 

Love Lauren. Best thing that Season 2 gave us. Santana for the win of course at this point, I like Brittany but it would be too obvious surely?

Very pleased that Sue didn't beat Brittana! :D Although I gave Brittany my 11, I actually currently prefer Santana - so I won't be that bothered over who wins. :)

I love both, but would prefer a Santana win.

 

Really enjoyed the results, and pretty much a perfect top 3. My only problem is how Beiste is so high. I like her - when we actually see her. She's not even amazing in the moments we do see her. Yet she's above people such as Finn & Quinn [who haven't been that likable since the superbowl episode, but they have some brilliant moments] :(
