Number 2 goes to closet lesbian Santana Lopez! She only missed out on winning due to ONE person giving her only one point- if that person had rated her higher then a 4 she would have won!

Santana is amazing. She's gone from 'slutty cheerio' to 'closet lesbian slutty cheerio' and Naya plays the bitch to perfection. She's clearly in love with Brittany and despite my total fanning over Bartie- I really do think that Brittana are a couple that are gonna happen and I can't wait!

Brittany is our winner! The queen of the one liners beat's out love rival Santana to take the top spot. An impressive run of 10 and 9's made Brittany just steal the crown from Santana who dominated for pretty much the whole round. Brittany is dating Artie but is 'bicurious' for Santana. The inevitable will surely happen and Brittany and Santana will get together. But will they work as a couple? I'm not sure.. I think I like the Britana friendship too much!

Brittany was bought in as a character for light relief and because Heather Morris is a fierce dancer. But the fans took her to thier hearts and she became a regular in Series 2!

What a picture... good, if obvious result. Not a bad character in the top 10 although Emma has annoyed me recently.

I don't think that video of Brittany quotes gives her justice - she's been a lot more funny in season two, with better lines and I'm glad she's become an established character. Brilliant top two, anyway, and I can see them being my favourite characters for a long while!

Brilliant winner! :D Brittany is by far the funniest character in the show, she's my 3rd fave overall behind Santana and Rachel. And I think I actually hate 152Chris for giving HRH Queen Santana of Life a 1!!! Ah well, if she lost to Sue or Beiste I would have been annoyed but Brittany is amazing too so I think I can let it go! Last year's top 2 (Emma and Sue iirc - the former of which was my 11) would be low top 10 at best this season, but I can safely say Santana and Brittany will stay up there with Rachel in my favourites through Season 3! :) Just ftr, my ideal top 5 would have been:

1. Santana

2. Rachel

3. Brittany

4. Finn

5. Holly

(Honorable mentions to Mercedes, Blaine and Lauren!)

I would've preferred a Santana win I think, but Brittany is undoubtedly one of the best/most hilarious characters so no complaints here!

Oh yeah, and thanks for doing all of this, Gary! Sorry for not actually commenting that much on the results, but I never really know what to say, and by the time I've read them, someone else has already said my opinions.

Although I love both, just sometimes I feel Brittany's stupidity is a bit TOO much.

I think Brittany has been a more rounded character this series actually. She's not just there for comic relief but actually has a story going on with Santana.

 

I voted them both a 10, but in retrospect, If doing the voting now- Santana would totally get my 11.

Ha! Oops, i actually really hated Santana up until the last few episodes but now she's REALLY growing on me. Brittany is still better though, SORRY ALED DON'T HATE ME
