Disgusted there's no topic for this. On the back of the simply sensational first movie comes the sequel:

 

 

I'll be honest, I thought a sequel would be just terrible and the brilliance of the first film should be left alone. However, the trailer looks simply wonderful and I am looking forward to this with eagerness!

Watched this today, it's a good film but it's essentially exactly the same plot as the first one, I enjoyed it but can see why the average critic rating is only 4.8/10

I don't get the hype, AT ALL. The first was $h!t, imo. I watched it once after the hype and everyone saying "OMG it's the funniest film in ages" or whatever, but I failed to see that personally. I think it was the hype that put me off of it, tbh. I bet it is a good film, but the hype was ridiculous for it. I've not seen it since I first saw it as I've never had any intention to do so. Think I will at some point though, see what I missed the first time round.

It is quite similar to the first one, but I think they changed it enough in places to keep it fresh as well. I thoroughly enjoyed it but it wasn't a patch on the first one.

The first wasn't funny. The second is effectively the same film with certain characters' traits heightened to the point of EXPLOSION THROUGH ANNOYANCE.

 

I swear I'm my own worst enemy at times.

Bridesmaids is totally hilarious. Better than this and honestly better than the first Hangover, as well.

I saw this last night...was alright but basically just a rehash of the first film.

I don't really blame them for doing that though when the first one was such a huge hit. It still had its fair few funny moments so not a total waste of a cinema trip. Plus there was a trailer for Bridesmaids before the film - hadn't heard of it til I'd read this thread but it looks so good!

Also, did anyone else notice this? Not tryin' to be all politically correct but I didn't think this was O.K.

Not as good as the first one obiously, but I still really enjoyed it.

 

Chow was absolutely brilliant, and that monkey was hilarious. The strip club revelation was the highlight however...

I really enjoyed this however like pointed it, it's basically the same as the first one!
