April 27, 201115 yr 'This Love' for Ellie Goulding? As in the song that was on the original album? If so, I love the song, but it seems like an odd choice. :D for J-Lo going straight to B. No Britney remix, or Blue :( Edited April 27, 201115 yr by Jaack Sykes
April 27, 201115 yr :o 'Judas' already A-Listed. :D :cheer: for JLo, hopefully 'I'm Into You' gets her another Top 10 smash.
April 27, 201115 yr It's quite rare when they add a pop-artist straight to the B-list, I remember only GaGa doing it this year (twice), 'On the Floor' success surely encouraged them.
April 27, 201115 yr A bit random for Ellie to be releasing 'This Love' as a single, if it is getting a release. Has it even been confirmed anywhere?
April 27, 201115 yr So This Love (Will Be Your Downfall) is Ellie's new single off the original album? Good song but strange choice!
April 27, 201115 yr Ellie Goulding's releasing another song off Lights  she really shouldn't bother anyway some very good additions- in particular, Example :D huge number 1 please, not so much for Beyonce -_- Arctics still not A-listed :o I'm pretty sure they've playlisted every other song by them Edited April 27, 201115 yr by chart wizard
April 27, 201115 yr Great additions this week actually. J.Lo straight to the B-list and Alexandra Stan on there, should start climbing up the charts steadily, I wondered if they might ignore it but obviously not... Glad Toddla T's been moved up to the main playlist as well! Blue have realised that radio are snubbing them by the way  http://twitition.com/p2zbz
April 27, 201115 yr I'm surprised they didnt add Wynter Gordon, huge hit waiting to happen. I agree, and it doesn't really seem like the sort of song they'd actively ignore, plus it has form - it was a #1 in Australia. I've no idea why they're not supporting it.
April 27, 201115 yr * Ellie Goulding - This Love * Example - Changed The Way You Kiss Me * Katy B - Easy Please Me * The Strokes - Taken For A Fool OMG I'm so over excited for this, and especially Ellie Goulding ! I had no idea this was the new single
April 27, 201115 yr I was worried R1 were going to ignore CTWYKM for a while  But I assume they didn't playlist it before because they knew its release was going to be pushed back to June. Hopefully it can go to #1. Why is Minaj off the playlist, the video for it hasn't even been released yet hasn't it? Edited April 27, 201115 yr by Bray
April 27, 201115 yr The higher list, the more plays a song is guarenteed. A-List is something like 18-20 daytime plays a week?
April 27, 201115 yr What is the difference between being A, B and C listed? The higher the list, the more Radio 1 daytime DJs are encouraged to play it. So A-List songs typically get played more than B-List songs and B-List songs more than C-List songs. It doesn't always work like that though I don't think, I remember when Jónsi's Go Do was on the R1 A-List for several weeks but received next to no actual plays and was probably played less frequently than most of the C-List.
