Tone Damli Aaberge here! I'll be your host for this evening here at the beautiful Arena Svenska in Santryan. Santryan is the state capital of Ashworth, known within Ashton as the Swedish State, it is the only state in Ashton to use Swedish as an official language with all of the population speaking Svenska as their first language. Before we begin with the Deltävling, how about some music? I'm going to perform my hit Buzzjack Song Contest Entry where i came 4th for Ashton, and runner up in Melodi Grand Prix. I am of course referring to the Ashton #1, Butterflies.

 

 

I never get bored of singing that track here in Ashton. Onto the technical stuff:

 

This is Deltävling 1 of 4. The top two placed songs will qualify for the grand final in Morpeth Cove, with 3rd and 4th heading to Numayania for Andra Chansen.

 

You can not vote for your own entry, and you will award points as follows:

07 || 00 points

 

You have until 4pm on May 3rd to send your votes to Silas. Failure to vote will result in a 12 point deduction, which in a heat of only 8 entries could be the difference between 1st, and qualification to the final, and 5th, where your journey would end here. Only participants of Deltävling 1 may vote in this Deltävling. Feel free to listen to the tracks to suss out your competition though!

Tbh this was always going to happen, and it doesn't bother me. The thing I like about this spin-off is that it's almost not a spin-off, more of a voting experiment :heehee:
